During the height of the cold war, Chuck Yeager (Sam Shepard) makes history as the first pilot to break the sound barrier. A few months later the Russians launch "Sputnik" - the first orbiting satellite. As a result the US starts the Mercury project with the aim of sending a man in space as quickly as possible.

A few pilots, selected after careful consideration, begin training with the aim of being launched into space. Out of these, seven are selected who have "The Right Stuff" to form the first team of astronauts.

The 1983 film "The Right Stuff" was directed by Philip Kaufman and starred Sam Shepard, Scott Glenn, Ed Harris, Dennis Quaid and Fred Ward. Tom Wolfe's book by the same name was published in 1979.

Brad hears on the radio of the explosion and the formation of a toxic cloud, and after a vain attempt to find his wife, decides to make his home as airtight as possible. Lexi eventually returns home, only to discover that the house is completely sealed and Brad refuses to let her in.

After Lexi breaks a door panel, Brad seals off the bedroom and allows Lexi to get in. Unfortunately for him, Lexi's phone is contaminated with the virus.

In order to find out what happens next you will have to watch the film, which was written and directed by Chris Gorak, and won the Cinematography award at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2006.

Stanley Windrush, fresh from university, gets a job as a blue-collar unskilled worker at his uncle's missile factory. Although he is welcomed with suspicion by shop steward Fred Kite, he is later offered lodging in his home. During an efficiency test Stanley is tricked into performing his job faster than other more experienced workers, which results in a general strike. Kite reprimands Windrush, which prompts him to cross the picket line to go back to work, for which Kite orders him out of his house.

The whole country goes on strike and so there is no option for his uncle than to negotiate with Kite. An agreement is reached but Windrush is fired due to his involvement with both sides. "I'm All Right Jack" was directed by John Boulting and featured Ian Carmichael, Terry Thomas, Richard Attenborough, Dennis Price and Margaret Rutherford.

The phrase "I'm All right Jack" means that as long as I am doing well I do not much care about anybody else.

When word of this gets around his popularity surges and everybody wants to get a piece of the action. The film was directed by Lee Philips and starred Gary Colman as the shoe-shine boy, Maureen Stapleton, Norman Fell, Michael Lembeck and Lisa Eilbacher. Gary Coleman, known for his portrayal of Arnold Jackson in "Diff'rent Strokes", sadly passed away in 2010, aged 42.

Darling finds some of Snidely's stash and everybody is taken over by a gold rush.

This makes Snidely famous and he takes control of the city. Nell's father, who is on good terms with Snidely, dismisses Dudley from the Mounties. Darling trains Dudley on how to confront Snidely and his men. Dudley manages to scare them and at the same time steal Nell back from Snidely, who swears revenge on Dudley.

The film was directed by Hugh Wilson and also starred, among others, Alfred Molina, Eric Idle, Robert Prosky and Alex Rocco. "The Right Temptation" was released in 2000, "Let The Right One In" in 2008 and "Wrong Is Right" a.k.a "The Man With The Deadly Lens" in 1982.
