Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Warrant's second album, "Cherry Pie", and Poison's second album, "Open Up And Say Ahh!", have what in common?

Answer: Both original covers were banned

The Warrant cover was banned shortly after release because it had a piece of cherry pie landing in the "lap" of a hot waitress. The Poison cover was banned because the character had a long, shaft like structure coming from its mouth and the rest you can hopefully figure out.
2. What was the name of the girl that Guns and Roses frontman Axl Rose wrote "Sweet Child O' Mine" for?

Answer: Erin Everley

He wrote "Sweet Child O' Mine" for Erin and "Don't Cry" for his next girlfriend whose name escapes me.
3. What artist wrote "Knockin' On Heaven's Door"?

Answer: Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan wrote it. This was one hell of a song, and GN'R did a great and probably the most famous cover of it.
4. Who was Poison's lead guitarist on their "Native Tongue" album?

Answer: Richie Kotzen

It was Richie, but he only lasted for that album.
5. These lyrics are from what Iron Maiden song? "...the golden goose is on the loose and never out of season..."

Answer: 2 Minutes To Midnight

"2 Minutes To Midnight" is in my opinion one of the top 5 Iron Maiden songs ever. They were very creative with the names of their songs and the lyrics.
6. What band sang "How Do You Talk To An Angel"?

Answer: The Heights

I really don't know much about them, but they sing this wonderful song. **A note about the choices for your answer-I HATE punk rock and grunge like Nirvana. The only 3 good bands to come from the grunge movement, in my opinion, are Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden.
7. Rob Halford once sang a Judas Priest song with Skid Row.

Answer: True

He sang "Delivering The Goods" with Skid Row at a concert once. It was on Skid Row's 1992 album "B-Side Ourselves".
8. Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale was married to Whitesnake music video star Tawny Kitaen.

Answer: True

David and Tawny were married, but I think it only lasted 5 years tops.
9. What is the first song Ozzy Osbourne ever wrote with the late great Randy Rhoads?

Answer: Goodbye To Romance

This is a terrific song, and I could never understand why it recieved so little attention. It was off his solo debut album, 1980's "Blizzard of Ozz".
10. Which 80's band sang "Ode To Tipper Gore"?

Answer: Warrant

This was off 1990's smash hit "Cherry Pie" album. Warrant was such an underappreciated hair band.
