Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of the following songs starts the "Abbey Road Suite" (the final songs on the album which all blend together as one)?

Answer: You Never Give Me Your Money

This song goes through how Paul got to where he was at the present time this song was written. The song ends with Paul's new freedom with his wife Linda. The idea that he could pack up the car and get away, leaving his worries behind, was quite appealing to him.

3. The famous love song, "Something", is written by which Beatle(s)?

4. Which one of these names is not heard in the song "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"?

Answer: Jean

Paul McCartney was the only Beatle who really even cared for this song, the reason being that he wrote it. It is about a serial killer, Maxwell Edison, who actually goes around killing his victims with a silver hammer. The name Joan is supposed to be Maxwell's girlfriend, but the other names, Rose and Valerie, must be part of Paul's imaginative mind.

George Harrison wrote this song when he was visiting his friend Eric Clapton; he was relieved to be out in a garden under the sun.
8. Which song is the last song on the album?

Answer: Her Majesty

"Good Night" was not even on "Abbey Road". The Beatles did not want their fans to think this was their last album because, in fact, they were not even sure if it was. So they ended up using "Her Majesty" instead of "The End".

Knowledge from "The Beatles Anthology" DVD set.
9. Of the choices given, which song is the longest?

Answer: Golden Slumbers

"Her Majesty" is the shortest at 23 seconds. Then comes "Mean Mr. Mustard", 1 minute 6 seconds in length, and then "Polythene Pam" is 1 minute 12 seconds in length. "Golden Slumbers" is longest at 1 minute 31 seconds! The longest song on the album is "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" at 7 minutes 47 seconds!
10. "Oh yeah, all right, are you gonna be in my dreams tonight?" is a line from which song?

Answer: The End

Here are the lyrics for "The End": "Oh yeah, all right, are you gonna be in my dreams tonight? Love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you... And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love, you make, Ah". Not much but it is a brilliant song.
