Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Dr. Hopple is killed before she's able to make it to Camp Redwood to warn Margaret Booth.

Answer: False

Dr. Hopple heads straight from the asylum to Camp Redwood driving over in the middle of the night and knocking on a cabin door to speak to Margaret Booth. Margaret meets her hesitantly to discover that Benjamin Richter has escaped from the asylum. Dr. Hopple urges her to shut the camp down because Mr. Jingles has exhibited signs of an obsession towards Margaret and Redwood, but Margaret refuses, believing she needs to stand up to the killer. Pulling a gun from her desk drawer, Margaret convinces Hopple to leave. Dr. Hopple heads back to town, but one of her tires blows out on the drive.

There, in the middle of the woods, she is coincidentally met by the driver of a tow truck. She doesn't realize until too late that the driver is none other than Mr. Jingles.

He walks up to her driver's side window, breaks through it, drags her out, and kills her, claiming her ear for his necklace.
2. Brooke discovers that the news has already located which of the following bodies in Mr. Jingles' wake?

Answer: The gas station attendant

Brooke sees the news report, but the other don't; the police caught wind of the murder of the gas station attendant. She fears the killer on the payphone. That said, Margaret finds the others spending time together in their cabin and she asks the boys to leave for their own beds. They do, after all, have the children arriving the next morning.
When the guys leave, Montana sits with Brooke and tries to calm her down, especially since Brooke has had some traumatic experiences. Montana tries to relate by saying her mother sent her to fat camp when she was six; if they imagine the worst, that's all they see.
Brooke doesn't need to imagine the worst though; it already happened to her.
3. Brooke, at one time, was married.

Answer: False

One summer before Brooke arrived at Camp Redwood, she walked down the aisle at her own wedding. Reaching the altar, she greeted her fiancé, Joey, but when he was asked to accept Brooke as his lawfully-wedded wife, Joey believed that his best man, Sam, had slept with her the night before.

Not believing Brooke when she promised she was saving herself for marriage, Joey took out a gun to shoot Sam, Brooke's father, and himself, leaving her drenched in his blood at the altar. Brooke tells Montana that no one has even believed her and Montana, leaning in for a kiss, tells her that she does. Brooke, taken aback a fair bit, heads out for some air.
4. Xavier, as is revealed by Blake, was able to overcome which of these?

Answer: Drug addiction

The boys head back to the showers before heading to their cabin and Xavier decides to split off to collect his towel. When he does, Margaret shuts down all the power at the camp and Xavier is ambushed in the dark by a man who brings him out to the back seat of his car.

It turns out to be Blake, Xavier's former agent who's decided to stalk him. Blake pulled Xavier up from drug addiction out on the streets near MacArthur Park and gave him something to hang on to, but Xavier has regrets, not for getting clean and finding work, but for giving in to temptation and starring in Blake's gay adult film. And now Blake wants him back at work.
5. Xavier tries to offer up which of the other guys at the camp to get Blake off his case?

Answer: Trevor

Xavier refuses to give in to Blake's demands and tries to run away but to no avail; Blake quickly brings him down to the ground and threatens to send Xavier's video to all of his friends and acquaintances, almost surely preventing him from having meaningful relationships or work.

But Xavier thinks fast, offering up a better man for the job and leading Blake to the showers to ogle Trevor. It's then that Xavier is able to make a quick and quiet escape...and Mr. Jingles is able to swoop in and jam a knife through the back of Blake's skull and through the peephole.
6. Brooke is able to fight off the Night Stalker using which of these to protect herself?

Answer: Paddle

Brooke, sitting out by the water alone, lets her feet hand out over the dock until she accidentally kicks something floating in the water-- a dead body. Turning around, she finds none other than her stalker, Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker, standing and waiting for her.

She's only able to escape by dodging his curved blade and hitting him in the head with an oar. Brooke runs through the woods, nearly getting caught by her pursuer, but Richard is knocked off his feet by none other than the amnesiac that Brooke saw dead in the nurse's quarters.

The man, confused, believes that the woods aren't where he's meant to die, but the Night Stalker claims him as a victim as Brooke gets away.
7. A nametag from the amnesiac's pocket indicates that he worked at Camp Redwood in what year?

Answer: 1970

Rita, in the nurse's office, dances to the Pointer Sisters' "Jump" unaware that she's being watched. She only turns around when she hears the sound of keys jingling behind her.
Outside, Brooke reaches the payphone only to find that the line has been cut and Montana, who responds to Brooke's concerns, suggests that maybe the phone needs the power that Margaret turned out. Brooke insists that the Night Stalker has followed her from Los Angeles and Montana refuses to believe it.
The Night Stalker certainly is at Camp Redwood and he watches Brooke and Montana's conversation until someone stumbles upon him-- the same amnesiac from before. Richard kills him again and finds a tag in the man's shirt pocket indicating that he may have been a counsellor on the property back in 1970. When he looks back at the body, it seems to have vanished.
8. Who discovers Blake's body at the showers?

Answer: Ray

Brooke and Montana hear screams across the Camp and find the boys near the showers having discovered Blake's impaled body on the shower wall. Ray checks for a pulse but there's clearly nothing there. The girls come across the others and Blake returns as well, claiming he never met the guy in his life. Montana believes Brooke, finally, that the Night Stalker has arrived, but when Trevor checks Blake's head, he notices an ear is missing.

They decide to head to the van to get away while they still can. Margaret, meanwhile, takes her keys and heads back to her cabin to find someone waiting for her.
9. Margaret suggests that God and which of these are the perfect combination justifying that Richard be free to do whatever he wants?

Answer: Trauma

Richard Ramirez is the man waiting for Margaret in her cabin, and when he reveals himself to be a servant of Satan, she worries that he may want something from her. His ask is specific: he wants to know about the man he killed several times already. Margaret doesn't shy away from the fact that Richard has killed people and explains that the man he's been seeing died in 1970-- she was there-- and it was probably an act of God that he returned. Richard tells her of his history from birth to the present day and Margaret sympathizes, believing that God brought him to the camp to help her. And the great thing is, as she says, he's a victim of trauma; coupled with God at his side, he has the freedom to do anything. Margaret insists that Richard must stay and help her so that they can protect the children; there's been enough killing at Camp Redwood.
10. The counsellors try to escape Camp Redwood in Xavier's van but accidentally crash the vehicle when who runs out in front?

Answer: Rita

Out in the woods, Margaret finds the amnesiac, Jonas, somehow in a corporeal form. He seems to believe he's still in 1970 but Margaret forces him to come to terms with the trauma of the night of the massacre. He admits he left the other campers to die, but he ran out to the road and got hit by Mr. Jingles' car, becoming another victim. And somehow he's back at camp.
The counsellors get to the van and pile in, starting it as quickly as they can and putting the pedal to the metal. When Xavier speeds forward, however, Nurse Rita runs in front of the car and causes him to crash into Margaret's vehicle. This leaves the group with only a couple of options-- Rita's small car or Trevor's motorcycle-- so they split up to get the keys. The group that searches for Rita's keys returns to the infirmary to find that Mr. Jingles has escaped. Xavier, Montana, and Trevor find the keys to the motorcycle and Xavier breaks down, knowing it's his fault Blake was killed.
At both the infirmary and the group's cabin, the counsellors stand behind the front door as someone pounds on the other side.
