Well before Montana headed to Camp Redwood with her friends, she used to run an aerobics class for men in the city, and it's there that she crossed paths with Richard Ramirez for the first time, introducing herself and flirting with him. Although Ramirez arrived in full 'Rambo gear', she made note of the type of knife he was carrying, leading to an instant connection between the two of them. That night, after her class finished, Montana returned to the locker room to find the disemboweled body of one of her class-goers. Ramirez left him there, as a gift to her.

Although Montana likely should have been more concerned with the corpse in the locker room, she instead took the opportunity to use Richard Ramirez for what he was good at. After a bit of fun, she asked him if he would kill for her. As it turned out, Brooke's husband-to-be, in his misplaced rage, shot Montana's brother Sam-- his best man-- at the wedding. Montana blamed Brooke for the death; she believes Brooke cheated and lied about it. Ramirez vowed he would make her suffer.

Reuniting in the parking lot at Camp Redwood, Montana chastises Richard for not getting the job done (even though he was close), and because Montana knows Mr. Jingles is back, killing those at the camp, she makes it clear that they need to get to Brooke and kill her first. The guys, meanwhile, bring Chet back to the nurse's cabin and try to help him out, especially after the horrible wound he received from the spike pit out in the woods. Though it seems like he's about to die, Trevor stabs him in the chest with epinephrine, jolting him back to consciousness. Xavier realizes that Blake, the porn producer, left his car out by the showers, and it's their best shot at escaping, but first they need to find Margaret and Chef Bertie.

They decide to leave Chet to rest, but split up-- Trevor going to get Margaret and Xavier going to get Bertie.

Margaret finds the decapitated bodies of the local pranksters outside the cabins when Trevor comes across her. She's in disbelief when she's told that Mr. Jingles killed the boys and though Trevor tries to convince her, she refuses to leave because of the school bus of children expected to arrive the next morning (and, as she says, she has a gun). Xavier heads to the mess hall to find Bertie making sandwiches.

She refuses to listen to his plea to leave and, though Xavier hides under one of the tables, she stays still as Mr. Jingles approaches and enters.

She turns around to face her former coworker and nervously starts to make him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich as he takes a seat.

Answer: Xavier

Mr. Jingles asks Bertie she came back, and she admits she did it to help Margaret overcome her horrible memories of that fateful night. That's when Xavier accidentally drops something.
As soon as Mr. Jingles hears the noise under the table, he looks down to find Xavier and catch him before he can escape. Though Bertie tries to defend the counsellor, the two of them are quickly overpowered. Jingles knocks out Xavier, but stabs Bertie repeatedly before heating up the mess hall oven. He cranks it up to the max before locking Xavier inside.

Answer: The tool shed

Brooke awakens, remembering that Nurse Rita, actually a woman by the name of Donna, drugged her and dragged her through the woods. She finds herself locked in a tool shed and manages to break her way through the door before heading down one of the paths outside.

It proves to be a bad idea as the way was trapped; she ends up in a rope net and Donna finds her there. Donna admits to everything she's doing; she keeps Brooke in the net because she needs to research Mr. Jingles and know whether or not he'll kill prey left for him (instead of engaging in the hunt).

Answer: Ladle

In the mess hall, Xavier begins to burn away. He's only saved when Chef Bertie, with her dying strength, manages to remove the ladle blocking the door from opening, allowing Xavier to tumble out. Though Xavier wants to go find help, Bertie begs him to kill her to put her out of her pain and misery, and though he's reluctant, he does, stabbing her through the heart before removing the knife to bring with him.

He catches a glimpse of himself in the reflection of the oven door to see the scarring burns all over his face. Out in the woods, Montana is the one to find Brooke trapped in the net and she is nothing less than thrilled. Brooke lets her know that Nurse Rita isn't who she says she is and seems to be working with Mr. Jingles, and Montana vows it'll all be over soon before running off to find something sharp.

Margaret returns to her cabin to locate and load her gun, grabbing something else from her desk drawer-- a small, carved bear that Benjamin Richter, Mr. Jingles, made back when she was a counsellor. The other counsellors, as it turned out, used to make fun of them for being close, but they never knew that she used to refer to him as her bear-- her protector. Bears, as she once told him, would mate for life. Richard Ramirez, meanwhile, takes the time to start a ritual to find Brooke but he doesn't need it. Montana finds him to bring him to Brooke but it leads to a much more dire confrontation. With Montana watching from the bushes on one side and Donna hiding nearby, Brooke can only sit in the net and watch as Ramirez comes face to face with Mr. Jingles.

The fight commences with both Mr. Jingles and Richard Ramirez trading blows, slashing at each other with their weapons. Montana finds Donna in the bushes as well and the two of them come to blows, tumbling down a hill. Montana gets the upper hand and, at the last minute, is able to race up to the clearing to find Mr. Jingles winning the fight by impaling Richard to a tree through the back of his mouth. Brooke is just barely able to escape, freeing herself from the net during the chaos. Margaret prays to God until the jingling comes through her front door, and when she turns around, she finds the supposed answer to her prayers.

It's then that Margaret reveals that she was the one who committed the murders at the camp, committing Benjamin to years of electroshock therapy in the asylum-- so much so that he forgot he didn't kill the counsellors. All of the stories about Mr. Jingles were lies.

Answer: Trevor

Margaret gleefully tells Benjamin that they've come full circle. She committed the murders in 1970 and he took the fall, and now, in 1984, he's the one who's committed the murders. He has become what she made him. He decides to lash out at her, but when he brandishes his knife, she shoots him in the chest several times, bringing him down to the ground.
Out in the woods, the others hear the gunshots. Montana comes across Trevor and Chet near the archery range, but Trevor sends the two of them off so that he can retrieve Margaret. He reaches her cabin to find Mr. Jingles' body on the ground, but Margaret stops him and stabs him in the stomach. Before he can reach the gun on the floor, she finishes the job before removing his ear. She doesn't notice as Benjamin's body goes missing.
Out in the woods, Benjamin and Xavier cross paths and they let each other go. Brooke finds Xavier alone in the woods and the two of them head out to find the only working car set ablaze. There, in front of it, they reunite with Montana, Chet, and Margaret. They can only watch as their escape goes up in smoke.
Elsewhere, Donna awakens where Montana left her, and there she watches as Richard Ramirez's body is lifted from the ground by an invisible force. His wounds seal before her very eyes and he's brought back to life. And he notices her watching.
