One day before Halloween, Brooke and Donna ponder the future. Brooke thinks about leaving America (maybe for Australia), but first thing's first, she needs to kill Margaret. Before they can leave their diner, a girl named Stacey Philips comes by their table and says that Brooke looks exactly like-- go figure-- Brooke Thomas.

She's probably not the only one though; a number of people are allegedly planning to attend the festival as Brooke and Mr. Jingles groupies. Stacey is a writer about serial killers with the "National Enquirer"; she's writing a book about Redwood.

The girls depart a little more worried than before.

Bruce, who removed himself from the sign that Brooke and Donna left him tied to, drives down the road towards Camp Redwood and picks up the ghost of a counsellor along the way. The counsellor can barely hear the banging coming from the trunk. The truth is, the night before, a driver removed Bruce from the pole and he tossed her into the trunk before stealing her car.

He pulls over and kills her so that he can listen to Creedence on the radio.

Answer: Courtney

At Camp Redwood, Margaret is brought to see the carnage in Kajagoogoo's bus. Courtney, who already took too long to inform Margaret, suggests they call the police as soon as possible, but Margaret, intending for the festival to go off without a hitch, urges him to purchase some plastic sheeting, garbage bags, good rubber gloves, and a butcher's knife to get rid of the bodies.

The bus needs to be bleached as well, and no one will know, according to Margaret, provided everything else goes well. When Courtney loads the pieces of Kajagoogoo into the back of his van, he hears the band practicing around the corner and, sure enough, their ghosts are there.

As roadies set up the main stage for Billy Idol, Richard Ramirez tries to get closer to the action. One of the roadies gives him a guitar pick and it's enough to satisfy him; he goes into the woods to play some air guitar. When he does, it's Richter's opportunity to jump him and the two go brawling... at least until Bruce hits Richter with his car. Richter gets away, but Bruce, recognizing Ramirez as the Night Stalker, decides to geek out and offer his services so that they can both up their body counts. Bruce is in when he finds out that the goal is to kill Mr. Jingles; he's big game.

Answer: Three years

Brooke and Donna end up back at their motel room and hear a knock at the door. It's none other than Stacey, and she knows who they are. She invites the pair to her room and reveals that she's been studying Redwood for three years, so she has a pretty good idea of who they are, but she can't put her finger on why Donna saved Brooke from the execution. Brooke offers Stacey a deal: if Stacey brings them back to Redwood in the trunk of her car, she'll take her on a tour and tell her the whole truth, but Stacey needs to be quiet about Donna's identity and Brooke's faked death until after her book comes out. Since it's a better story, Stacey agrees wholeheartedly.

Answer: Another fifty years

Montana and Trevor share a moment with each other and Montana reminds herself of her goal-- she still wants to kill everyone at the festival, if not to find a solution to getting away from Camp Redwood, then to have more people to spend her time with. Trevor offers to stay with her, at least for the next fifty years, and he promises to be by her side.

As he leaves the cabin with her, Margaret watches from afar. Ramirez and Bruce wander through the woods looking for Richter and Xavier finds them first, deciding to lead them to Richter's buried corpse. That's where Richter finds them, dispatching Xavier's ghost and sending Bruce away. Ramirez, now knowing that Richter can't leave, threatens to head to Alaska to kill his son anyways and, unfortunately, the moment is cut short. Margaret shoots Richter's ghost in the head and asks for the others' help.

Answer: Montana was responsible for bringing Ramirez to the camp

Brooke and Donna get Stacey onto the property and tell her the story, insisting that Margaret and Mr. Jingles fought against Richard Ramirez while she hung from a net in a tree. Donna worries that Stacey is only there for a paycheck, and she's probably not wrong, but Brooke plans to kill her in the shack where Donna tied her up five years ago.

As they head onward, the other killers watch from a distance. When Richter returns, he's tied up by Montana and the other counsellor ghosts for failing to fix their situation, and as they move in to take their revenge on him, he begs for a chance to kill Ramirez, if only to save his child's life.

It's then that he reveals to the others that Montana was the one responsible for bringing Ramirez to the camp, and though they realize the severity of the situation, they don't let him go free.

Brooke takes Stacey to the cabin in the woods and tells the truth, even divulging the fact that Donna was the one who tranquilized her and worked with Mr. Jingles. She asks Stacey to close her eyes to get a feel for what happened that night, and as she goes to slit her throat, Donna stops her at the last second and pins her to the ground. Stacey gets away and Brooke gets a lesson about avoiding letting her evil side take over. Donna tells Brooke not to let herself become like Margaret and Mr. Jingles. If they can get their revenge against Margaret, then it'll wipe the slate clean. Stacey runs through the woods in fear...and right into the Night Stalker and Margaret Booth. Ramirez and Bruce both take a stab.

It all seems kind of aimless for Ramirez and Bruce and after they dispatch Stacey they hear out Margaret and her plan. There are places on Earth where people like John Lennon and Jim Morrison were killed or buried where people flock to feel a connection with their idols.

Their plan is to create their own such spot by killing all of the big musicians in the festival (except Billy Idol-- Ramirez and Bruce won't let that happen) and they'll make Camp Redwood THE site of '80s music memoriam. Trevor, meanwhile, locates Montana in the woods and he suggests that maybe he kill himself to stay with her; he loves her. Montana tells the truth-- Ramirez was her ex-boyfriend-- but he doesn't really care.

He wants her to change her mind and she doesn't need to keep killing, but she doesn't feel she can.

She sends him away and insists he never return.

Answer: The lake

Xavier and some of the phoney Mr. Jingles ghosts bring Richter out to the dock and insist that he'll never know peace while he's there. They bleed him out slowly and push him out into a boat in the lake, and that's when he sees Montana watching. It's how he lets his guard down, and it's because of this that he doesn't see Bobby's waterlogged corpse spring from the lake to pull him under the surface. Richter wakes up to see his mother and brother on the shore; all three of them sit down to have a picnic. Richter is, of course, saddened by the fact that he couldn't save his son, but Lavinia reassures him that he did the best he could and made the ultimate sacrifice, but nothing good can rise from the evil of the camp. That being said, he brought her Bobby back to her, and for that she is eternally grateful.

The past, she says, will always haunt them if they let it, and there, he can be happy with them.
