The works of famous Polish artist and child books illustrator, Jan Marcin Szancer and those of Swedish painter Per Dahlberg, who lived in Sopot, were the inspiration for the creation of this marvelous work of architecture. This unusual building has been given some very creative nicknames based on the phallic appearance of the structure, "Towering Innuendo" being one of them. Even though the building has an overall curved glass shape to it, the only curved piece of glass is at the very top. That piece of glass is lens-shaped.

The 744 glass panels on the building reflect the surroundings and can give the building a variety in the scale of colors that are reflected, depending on the weather conditions of the day.
