I'm officially back in the swim, having just submitted a question for Question Quest.

Also currently working on an adopted quiz as well as a new quiz for the 2022 limited edition badgelet. Besides that, there are Christmas related quizzes I'd like to get in, but who knows? /wry grin/

Now, here's something that boosted my morale: Clicking through the "Renovate a Quiz" link at Author Central I see a message informing me that none of my quizzes are eligible for renovation. Not, mind you, that some of my early quizzes aren't cringe-worthy, the lords of Quizziland just don't think they're bad enough to need a total makeover. Soberingly, though, they do add to check back often. /sigh/

Surely I'm missing something. Can it really be that the Music category has no Bassey, Shirley subcategory? I mean, like, she's a huge star. I must have missed it somehow. --Note to self on 'To Do' list: Start writing quizzes on Dame Shirley's music.

Okay, so I'm a pushover.

As you may or may not know, a couple weeks ago I adopted a quiz. Well, I just adopted another one; one, if possible, in greater need of TLC. The note on it actually said nobody played it. How could I resist?

But this is a long-term thing. It's a twenty-five question quiz, with less than half the questions including info. I only got 11 for 25, and had never heard of some of the correct answers.

My first executive decision,right off the bat, was that it would be divided into a three-quiz series. Have I mentioned that I do not like twenty-five question quizzes?

And then I need to investigate the books and decide which to keep and which to find substitutes for and, oh, I don't know what all!

As it is I can't get to it till next month, what with my Christmas music quiz I'm finishing up and then concentrating on my first adopted quiz. That ought to keep me busy for a while.

And then there's the quiz for my current state of Adventures in Authoring, that keeps getting pushed back. Looking forward to that one, though, perhaps surprisingly, because the requirement is for a Sports quiz. But the idea for this particular one has been in my mind ever since I did my Torvill and Dean quiz. So, in a way, it's good to be pushed into writing it.

At the same time, I have so many quizzes sitting in my computer, half formed or in germ form that I've been sitting on till I see what comes up next in Adventures in Authoring. That is, why waste a perfectly good quiz that could fulfill a stage?

Anyway, lots to do! So many niches and empty corners to fill. Today I noticed possibilities in the Deuterocanonical Books subcat of Religion. /rubs hands/ So many quizzes to write!

Let us know what happens with that 25 question quiz you adopted that no one had ever played! Looks like it was based on books or an author. I'm incredibly curious to know what book(s)/author.

We were very lucky not to lose power those frigid days. The past few days have been fairly mild, which is a relief, though the seesaw of temps is disconcerting.
