Answer: Clark

A chance encounter with the Doctor and Belinda at age 8 turns Conrad Clark into a TARDIS-obsessed conspiracy theorist (shades of "Love and Monsters"). He manages to find Ruby in 2024 and invites her on his podcast, where she reveals what she can about the Doctor.

After a few cute dates, Conrad sets up Ruby to expose the "lies and hoaxes" of UNIT. He turns out to be a delusional conspiracy nut who is making huge sums of money selling BS about the government to his podcast viewers. Shades of Alex Jones.

Jonah Hauer-King played Conrad. He has been acting since 2014 and has around a dozen movies under his belt, including playing Eric in "The Little Mermaid" (2023).

Answer: The Shreek

The Shreek is a combination dog/human type hybrid with lizard-like scales and nasty teeth. We first see them when the Doctor and Ruby are chasing them in a warehouse. That is where Conrad gets infected with spores that enable the Shreek to track him.

The Doctor is able to capture the Shreek, and UNIT keeps it in a cage in their headquarters. Conrad gets to meet the Shreek first hand towards the end of "Lucky Day."

Answer: Colson

Conrad takes Ruby to a small town to meet his friends. They fake an attack by the Shreek to get UNIT to arrive in force, to capture them live for the podcast. It is mentioned several times that the village is named "Colson"

The closest real life place could be the English village of Coulston. It's a small village known mostly for historic houses. Coulston is in Wiltshire, in southwest England, around 15 miles northwest of Stonehenge.

The town of Newton, Porthcawl in Wales was the filming location for the fictional village of Colson. The abandoned department store where Conrad saw Fifteen and Ruby was the same store used in "Rose" (2005).

Answer: Think Tank

Conrad's group is called Think Tank, although they don't seem to think much. Despite seeing evidence of aliens (including the Doctor), Conrad has a delusional view of reality, claiming UNIT is a massive hoax covering up a secret agenda with claims of aliens.

When anyone offers to show Conrad proof of aliens, he calls them liars who are only interested in money - a masterful job of projection.

Answer: Jordan Lang

Jordan Lang turns out to be the mole. Why they did not notice before that he was an aficionado of anti-government conspiracy websites is uncertain. Jordan subverts the security system, assaults a guard, and lets Conrad into the facility. Conrad then turns on him and shoots Jordan.

Jordan was played by Kareem Alexander. He has been acting in British television since 2018, with appearances on "Doctors" (2024) and "Silent Witness" (2025).

Answer: 50 pence

The Doctor found a fifty pence coin in the alley on New Year's Day 2007 which he gave to Conrad. The boy tried to convince his mother he had seen the Doctor, but she ignored him. To say that Conrad had major mommy issues is an understatement.

Conrad kept the coin as a medallion around his neck. This led to a 17-year quest to find the TARDIS. Conrad's story bears certain parallels with Elton in "Love and Monsters" (2006). But with a much more sinister outcome for his obsessions.

Answer: Candy floss

Candy floss (or fairy floss) is known as cotton candy by Americans. Which is the correct name, because it was invented in Nashville, Tennessee in the 1890s - by a dentist apparently trying to drum up business.

According to Ruby, the antidote tastes nothing like candy floss and is rather vile. It also makes you drowsy.

Answer: Don't trust him

Kate interviewed Conrad for a job at UNIT, turning him down because she did not trust him. He took that rejection quite seriously and built it into a monster grudge against the alien-fighting organization.

Conrad came into UNIT headquarters armed and demanded the truth. He pressed it one step too far by attacking Bridgadier Lethbridge-Stewart, Kate's father, whom she (and millions of Whovians) revere. Kate let the Shreek loose and it proceeded to bite off Conrad's arm.

Ncuti Gatwa's only substantial scene in "Lucy Day" is a confrontation in which the Doctor blasts conspiracy nuts on the Internet. The Doctor then predicts a grim future for Conrad of confinement until he dies. One sign of Conrad's absolute delusion is his challenging the prediction of a time traveler about the future. He rejects the Doctor and returns to his cell.

Answer: Mrs Flood

Anita Dobson returns once again as the mysterious Mrs Flood. This time she claims to be the governor of the prison, and releases Conrad, who is a definite threat to reality. Conrad's release counters the Doctor's prediction that the conspiracy theorist died forgotten to history after decades in prison.

The odds of Ruby releasing Conrad are probably in negative digits after the way he publicly humiliated her. And Jordan and the other activists are probably in jail for treason.

Answer: Pete McTighe

Pete McTighe wrote "Lucky Day" (2025). That was his third "Doctor Who" script. He wrote "Kerblam!" (2018) and "Praxeus" (2020) during the Fourteenth Doctor's era. McTighe reallu cut his teeth writing for the Australian soap opera "Neighbors" from 2008 to 2014.

Peter Hoar was the director. He worked with Russell Davies on the 1980s period drama "It's A Sin" in 2021.

Gethin Alderman was the actor in the Shreek costume. He has acted in a variety of British television shows since 2015, including "Casualty" (2020), "Doctors" (2022) and "Andor" (2022). He previously played a monster on "Somewhere Boy" (2022).

Jemma Redgrave returned as Kate Stewart, marking her fourteenth appearance on "Doctor Who" since 2012. We first saw her with the Eleventh Doctor in "The Power of Three" (2012). She is the niece of Lynn and Vanessa Redgrave.
