Answer: Alchemical Antithesis

This Elixir is an excellent showcase of the mighty falling hard. In "Black Ops 3", this was free and not consumable, and it was arguably the best Gobblegum in the entire game. In this game, its utility is nowhere near as useful and it is not free, rendering it a genuinely low tier Elixir.

Answer: Conflagration Liquidation

A Bonfire Sale temporarily slashes the cost of Pack-a-Punch by 90%, as well as spawns Mystery Boxes everywhere and causes them to cost only ten points a use briefly. While this utility sounds, and genuinely is, incredible, it's also somewhat situational. On Classified for example, there is a very reliable and quite easy way to earn a free Bonfire Sale, rendering this Epic quality Elixir somewhat redundant.

Answer: Suit Up

Why this Elixir is Epic quality escapes me, as its utility is very minimal and its rarity means it is unlikely to show up generally when using Nebulium Plasma. Armor is nice, but 100 Armor merely accounts for two hits from a zombie, so the amount conveyed through this Elixir is frankly pretty terrible.

The effect of this Elixir on a whole has potential, but it should never have been made into an Epic quality. Free or perhaps Uncommon would have made far more sense.

Answer: Secret Shopper

Secret Shopper actually received a pretty significant buff coming over from "Black Ops 3". In "Black Ops 3", Secret Shopper notably did not work on Wonder Weapons, but it now does in this game. On Dead of the Night specifically, this utility can be incredibly helpful as the Alistair's Annihilator notably does not receive the benefits conveyed by the Silver Bullet mechanic, so Secret Shopper could let the player buy ammo for it anyway. Secret Shopper is theoretically pretty useful on all maps, as all maps have Wonder Weapons.

The Wonder Weapons on IX and Classified aren't great, so maybe Secret Shopper wouldn't be best used there, but is otherwise highly splashable and consistent.

Answer: Perkaholic

Given that there are eighteen total perks in this game, Perkaholic simply could not have given the player every one of them as it did with far less perks in "Black Ops 3". That said, the effect is generally still the same, and this Elixir is the same togglable psuedo-god mode in this game that it was in "Black Ops 3".

Answer: Near Death Experience

This Elixir has been slightly nerfed coming over from "Black Ops 3". In "Black Ops 3", it worked for three full rounds at an unlimited capacity. In this game, it works for either ten minutes or at up to five revives, whichever comes first. This mainly impacts the Elixir's worth during boss fights at the end of an Easter Egg Main Quest.

In "Black Ops 3", because the effect was based on rounds, it would work indefinitely during the entirety of the boss fight, regardless of how long it took. In "Black Ops 4", this is changed. Outside of boss fights, the nerf is hardly felt at all.

Answer: Phoenix Up

This Elixir suffered the tiniest of tiny nerfs coming over from "Black Ops 3", in that is is a rarer quality in this game and thus is less likely to be produced from Nebulium Plasma. As for the effect itself, it remains completely unchanged and does exactly what it did in "Black Ops 3".

Answer: Kill Joy

Because Temporal Gift became a Free Elixir in this game, all powerup-providing Elixirs received slight indirect buffs as a result. If planning to equip this Elixir, the player should ask a friend to bring Temporal Gift so they could combo the two together.

Answer: Sword Flay

This Elixir received some much needed buffs coming over from "Black Ops 3". Here, it is a Free Elixir where the enhancement to melee damage output is far, far greater than "Black Ops 3". In "Black Ops 3", the damage buff was flat, so it would expire and become useless.

The infinite damage dealing aspect of this Elixir ensures it never truly becomes useless, though melee-ing enemies even with such damage output does become incredibly risky in the far, far later stages of a game.

Answer: Perk Up

This is, of course, Perkaholic but worse as intended. Perk Up notably cannot stack with itself, so the game will not even allow the user to use it a second time unless they get downed and lose the perks Perk Up provided them with.

Answer: Wall Power

This Elixir, on paper, is the exact same and has the exact same impact as it did in "Black Ops 3." And while the simple effect remains the same, the impact is largely lessened due to differing mechanics of this game. Because the player needs to Pack-a-Punch multiple times to receive a fully powered weapon, this Elixir does not save them as much trouble and points as it does in "Black Ops 3".

As well, like with Phoenix Up, it is a higher rarity in this game compared to "Black Ops 3", a slight nerf that makes it less common to receive when using Nebulium Plasma.

Answer: Reign Drops

If packing this Elixir, the player absolutely should tell a teammate to bring Temporal Gift, so that players can more readily take advantage of the Double Points, Insta-Kill and Fire Sale that they receive from this Elixir. Since Temporal Gift is Free in this game, this should be easy to arrange.

Answer: Temporal Gift

This is the exact same effect, and it even carries the exact same duration that it did from "Black Ops 3". However, this and Arsenal Accelerator are essentially neck and neck for the title of the most buffed coming over from "Black Ops 3", as Temporal Gift went from being a Rare Gobblegum to being a Free Elixir in this game. Since power ups are a given to appear in the average zombies game, Temporal Gift is an extremely consistent Elixir with broad, practical value.

As such, it can be justifiably equipped in any context, and the player will be sure to get value from it at some point.

Answer: Shields Up

On paper, this may seem to be an amazing choice for the Blood of the Dead Easter Egg Main Quest. However, it is actually a horrible choice for this function, as this Elixir will also wipe out progress made on the Soul Key of the Spectral Shield, which is highly detrimental to making progress on this quest's steps.

Other than Blood of the Dead, this Elixir is pretty effective at acting the part of a contingency plan; repairing the user's shield if the manual buy for it is out of reach. However, this exact function is also performed by the Carpenter power up, which can be received from the Licensed Contractor Elixir which incidentally is one rarity tier lower than this one. However, Shields Up works even if the user's shield gets completely destroyed, which Carpenter notably fails to do, so it is not outclassed- its niche is merely heavily contested.

Answer: Power Keg

This Elixir is debatably and situationally outperformed by Arsenal Accelerator, a free Elixir, while this Elixir itself is of the Legendary rarity. That said, it does provide the advantage of an immediate Specialist, which can be more useful than Arsenal Accelerator if the player just needs their Specialist, immediately and not at a souped up recharge rate.

It really should not be a Legendary rarity, though.
