2. The main objective on this map can be somewhat difficult to ascertain. What is the goal at this Broken Arrow facility? Hint

Question 3 of 20
3. A "new" Vermin class enemy appears on this map, the Lightning Hound! If you think that, then answer this: apart from their aesthetic appearance, is there a single tangible difference between Hellhounds and Lightning Hounds?

Question 4 of 20
4. Nova 6 Bombers debut on this map as a new Vermin class enemy. That said, there actually is one single difference between them and their lookalike Nova 6 Crawlers. What can Bombers do that Crawlers cannot? Hint

Question 5 of 20
5. A.D.A.M drones debut on this map, and they function almost identically to the Civil Protector from Shadows of Evil. A.D.A.M drones will fight alongside the player and even revive them if they go down. When summoned, how long will an A.D.A.M drone remain on the field? Hint

Question 6 of 20
6. As this is a remade map, the Wonder Weapon gets about as creative. What is the Wonder Weapon of this map? Hint

Question 7 of 20

Question 8 of 20
8. In repairing the ventilation, players will eventually boot up the computer program known as Rushmore, who is apparently sentient. Shocked at the presence of the crew, Rushmore demands to know how they accessed the perimeter. Rushmore is out of the loop because he has been dormant for a very long time. How long? Hint

Question 9 of 20
9. Rushmore functions similarly to the power box in the Citadel Tunnels in Blood of the Dead, in that players can input codes into him to cause various things to happen. Rushmore, however, has an extremely wide variety of codes tied to earning various things. Which of the following is something players can possibly earn putting a code in to Rushmore? Hint

Question 10 of 20
10. In theory, if the player could access the American Pyramid Device, the Easter Egg Main Quest could be finished in the blink of an eye. Of course, things aren't so easy. Rushmore can grant access to this place, but he refuses to do so until what happens? Hint

Question 11 of 20
11. After turning Rushmore on and learning what's required to access the American Pyramid Device, players are informed by him that they must "Pursue all avenues of science and invention" to proceed. This is deliberately confusing, but some light will be shed when players find a Nova 6 Bomber whose body is oddly lighting up red. What must players do with this Nova 6 Bomber? Hint

Question 12 of 20

Question 13 of 20
13. After messing around with a surprise appearance from Victis, players must tamper with some Jolting Jacks and then find a few codes for Rushmore so they can access a newly acquired server system. In order to obtain these codes, a very particular Alternate Ammo Type will be needed. Which AAT is required to proceed? Hint

Question 14 of 20
14. After using an AAT, players must now "Protect the values of the American Dream" as Rushmore puts it. The way this quest plays out is very different from how it initially seems. Until a wrench is thrown in his plans, Rushmore requests some very odd items from the player. What is one thing he asks for? Hint

Question 15 of 20
15. Once Rushmore has been satiated, the next step is quite a curious one. The soul of a Peter McCain must be forged and placed into a newly constructed A.D.A.M drone. Peter McCain's name may sound familiar to long time players, and I truly mean 'long' time as he hasn't been seen since "World at War" which came out over ten years before this map did. What map was Peter McCain last seen on? Hint

Question 16 of 20
16. After interacting with old friend Peter McCain, it's finally boss time! Who is the boss? Hint

Question 17 of 20
17. A funny little moment come full circle, when the boss is defeated, Rushmore will inform the team that the boss has been forcibly teleported elsewhere using the American Pyramid Device. The 'location' the boss was sent to was a map seen in "Black Ops 2." Where has the boss been teleported? Hint

Question 18 of 20
18. It has been a short while, but Doctor Monty makes his presence known after the boss is defeated. Unlike introducing himself on "Black Ops 3", however, Doctor Monty is clearly upset. He approaches Doctor Maxis, who has been helping the Primis and Ultimis crews. When Monty gets to Maxis, what does he do? Hint

Question 19 of 20
19. In Nuketown Zombies (which this map is a remade version of), the Broken Arrow facility appears to get destroyed by a nuke. In Alpha Omega, we learn that it was not actually a nuke which completely destroyed the Broken Arrow facility. What, or who, actually destroyed the facility? Hint

Question 20 of 20
20. After Broken Arrow gets completely annihilated, the Primis and Ultimis crews are essentially forcibly given their next objective by Samantha Maxis. What does she want to do? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This map made Zombies history doing something basic on paper, but pretty cool narratively. Which of the following is true about this map?

Answer: First map with more than four playable characters

On this map, a player can find themselves playing as one of the four Ultimis crew members or as one of the four Primis crew members, the first time in Zombies history that more than four playable characters existed on a map. The only restriction is that multiple players cannot play as the same person between crews.

In other words, if one player loads in as Ultimis Richtofen, no other player could then be Primis Richtofen, but would instead be one of the other Ultimis or Primis members.
2. The main objective on this map can be somewhat difficult to ascertain. What is the goal at this Broken Arrow facility?

Answer: Enact Nikolai's plan

Prior to the events of this map, Blood of the Dead took place. In it, Nikolai assumed leadership of the crew as per the prophecy depicted in the Kronorium. Nikolai never explicitly says on camera what the objective here is, but Nikolai and each of the other seven characters will take time at least indirectly talking about it, suggesting that Nikolai revealed at least major parts of the plan to the others off-camera.
3. A "new" Vermin class enemy appears on this map, the Lightning Hound! Do you think this enemy sure seems to look similar and act the same as the Hellhounds experienced for years and years at this point? If you think that, then answer this: apart from their aesthetic appearance, is there a single tangible difference between Hellhounds and Lightning Hounds?

Answer: No

Peering at the stats for these creatures, they are the exact same down to the very decimal point. Same health scaling, same base health and they deal the same amount of damage while moving at the exact same speed as the Hellhound. As such, while Lightning Hounds are technically unique and they did debut on this map, realistically, it's the exact same experience as fighting Hellhounds.
4. Nova 6 Bombers debut on this map as a new Vermin class enemy. That said, there actually is one single difference between them and their lookalike Nova 6 Crawlers. What can Bombers do that Crawlers cannot?

Answer: Buff nearby zombies

Just like Nova 6 Crawlers, if a Nova 6 Bomber is killed via any projectile, it will explode shortly after death. The explosion will greatly disorient players if they are hit by it.

Nova 6 Bombers mostly appear in the underground bunker, but can on rare occasion appear above ground too. When they spawn, any zombies they come into contact with will be buffed, moving faster, taking less damage from players, and dealing more damage to them.
5. A.D.A.M drones debut on this map, and they function almost identically to the Civil Protector from Shadows of Evil. A.D.A.M drones will fight alongside the player and even revive them if they go down. When summoned, how long will an A.D.A.M drone remain on the field?

Answer: Three rounds

Where the Civil Protector operated on a timer, A.D.A.M will remain for three rounds regardless of how long they last. A.D.A.M can also deal scaling damage to the zombies, making them always useful at helping to kill zombies even at ridiculously high rounds.

This clearly makes them a useful investment for players engaging in a high round push. They do cost three thousand points however, so they are not cheap.
6. As this is a remade map, the Wonder Weapon gets about as creative. What is the Wonder Weapon of this map?

Answer: Ray Gun Mark II

The Ray Gun Mark II now has four different elemental variants introduced by this map, the V form, X form, Y form and Z form. Each form has its own very slightly unique effect, but each is about as effective as the others.
7. When players turn the power on, they will be loudly notified that local ventilation systems are damaged and must be repaired. This is done by traveling underground and, first, engaging with a mini-game. What game is it?

Answer: Lockdown

The lockdown will occur in the underground bunker's generator room. All players must be present before the game allows the mini-game to proceed. Once activated, a swarm of Nova 6 Bombers and zombies will appear to attack the player. Unlike most Lockdowns, players do have to kill all enemies which appear in order to proceed, as opposed to simply surviving the onslaught.
8. In repairing the ventilation, players will eventually boot up the computer program known as Rushmore, who is apparently sentient. Shocked at the presence of the crew, Rushmore demands to know how they accessed the perimeter. Rushmore is out of the loop because he has been dormant for a very long time. How long?

Answer: Over 50 years

In 1965, Rushmore was created by Broken Arrow who was led by Cornellius Pernell. Pernell was sought after by the American government, and in the process, Pernell locked himself in the American Pyramid Device inadvertently. One of the men hunting Pernell deactivated the power, which caused Pernell to turn into a monster while Rushmore was promptly shut down. With Pernell unable to turn Rushmore back on, this is the state he was left in.

The events of this game take place in 2022, meaning Rushmore was off for roughly 57 years until the player managed to turn him back on.

Answer: Free Door

By inputting 3667, once per game, Rushmore will grant the player the ability to "buy" a door completely for free. This notably does not work on buyable debris, it must be a physical door the player can buy for free.

Rushmore is seriously loaded to the brim with codes and unique interactions. Depending on the code, he can give a wide variety of goodies, beneficial status conditions, he can straight up just tell a joke to the player like he's a standup comedian, he can vent about real world frustrations, tell the player he's "in a relationship with America", or simply provide interesting tidbits of lore.

Players would do well to experiment with Rushmore and see what kind of wild stuff he can get them into.
10. In theory, if the player could access the American Pyramid Device, the Easter Egg Main Quest could be finished in the blink of an eye. Of course, things aren't so easy. Rushmore can grant access to this place, but he refuses to do so until what happens?

Answer: He trusts the player(s)

Because Rushmore does not know how or why the player accessed the Broken Arrow facility, he is naturally weary of their intentions as they arrive. In order to earn his trust, players must "prove their commitment to the core values of Broken Arrow."

Answer: Escort it

Rushmore will comment on how there is a strange Nova 6 Bomber in the underground bunker that he wants to analyze. Once found, players must lure it over to the Transfusion Facility.
12. The next step has a special sort of way at greatly irritating players who disliked the Victis crew. Rushmore informs the party that "another intruder" has stolen a canister of Element 115 that the party must get back. Who's the thief?

Answer: Marlton Johnson

This is somewhat interesting as, of the four Victis crew members, it is Russman and not Marlton who is formerly a member of Broken Arrow, thus putting into question why or even how Marlton is even here. Nevertheless, players must find a door between the Diner and Greenhouse staircase and melee it a few times. Doing this will reveal that Marlton has locked himself, and this 115 canister, away. Players must return with an actively summoned A.D.A.M drone, which will scare Marlton into forking over the canister in fear that the drone will kill him if he does not.
13. After messing around with a surprise appearance from Victis, players must tamper with some Jolting Jacks and then find a few codes for Rushmore so they can access a newly acquired server system. In order to obtain these codes, a very particular Alternate Ammo Type will be needed. Which AAT is required to proceed?

Answer: Brain Rot

In the Green House, players will suddenly find three paintings that are emitting smoke. By Brain Rotting a zombie, it will turn on these paintings and attack them, knocking them down to reveal codes needed to access the server.

Why our cast and crew couldn't simply take these paintings down is beyond me. But it at least provides a quest-based use for Brain Rot.
14. After using an AAT, players must now "Protect the values of the American Dream" as Rushmore puts it. The way this quest plays out is very different from how it initially seems. Until a wrench is thrown in his plans, Rushmore requests some very odd items from the player. What is one thing he asks for?

Answer: A set of dentures

One of the requested items is a set of dentures which previously belonged to George Washington. Apparently, those were located somewhere in the facility or nearby. It doesn't matter though, as players are unable to even hear Rushmore's entire request out.

The true step is shown when Rushmore reveals that his battery power is running low, as he will plead with players to tinker with power boxes around the map to prevent him from "dying."

Answer: Shi no Numa

Longtime players with a really strong memory will likely be bewildered by this step. The reason being, Peter McCain does appear on Shi no Numa, but he is seen here shortly after having hanged himself, which would cause normal people to just assume this is where his story ended.

Not the case, it turns out, as Peter McCain's soul apparently lived on. Hardly the most surprising thing to come from a storyline as loaded with obscurities as this one.
16. After interacting with old friend Peter McCain, it's finally boss time! Who is the boss?

Answer: Cornelius Pernell

Cornellius Pernell, the former leader of Broken Arrow having transformed into a hideous monstrosity known as an Avogadro, is the boss of the map. Though this appears to be the exact same enemy as the mini-boss found on Tran-Zit, it is entirely mechanically different, and melee attacks will be of little use against him.
17. A funny little moment come full circle, when the boss is defeated, Rushmore will inform the team that the boss has been forcibly teleported elsewhere using the American Pyramid Device. The 'location' the boss was sent to was a map seen in "Black Ops 2." Where has the boss been teleported?

Answer: Tran-Zit

On Tran-Zit, Avogadro is the mini-boss of the map. On this map, before Avogadro spawns, he can be found struggling to escape a generator room- it turns out this very room is where he was forcibly teleported to from Alpha Omega, explaining why he tries so hard to escape it on Tran-Zit.

It was a funny moment where a map from two games prior had a core mechanic finally get explained so many years later- players might think "oh, so that's why Avogardo appears on Tran-Zit!" or something to that affect.

Answer: Kills Maxis

Dialogue with Maxis suggests that he knows Monty is coming for him, further implying Maxis understands what will happen to him when Monty arrives.

Monty is irate with Maxis, as Maxis is actively aiding the crew in breaking the cycle, which would greatly threaten Monty and the Keepers. Because of this, Monty in his Keeper form appears to Maxis shortly after the events of Alpha Omega and swiftly kills him on the spot.

Answer: Samantha Maxis

While the nuke greatly damaged Broken Arrow, it was actually Samantha who completely leveled the area. This took place after Samantha was outraged at the death of her father, Ludvig von Maxis, at the hands (tentacles) of Doctor Monty. She arrives, screams her lungs out, and the force of her scream topples over nearby structures and causes various explosions to take place.
20. After Broken Arrow gets completely annihilated, the Primis and Ultimis crews are essentially forcibly given their next objective by Samantha Maxis. What does she want to do?

Answer: Eliminate Doctor Monty

Outraged at Monty over him slaughtering her father, Samantha promises to return to The House and Agartha to kill him. In the Revelations map on "Black Ops 3", players do actually go to The House in Agartha, and they do come face to face with Doctor Monty, but it is under an entirely different context in which Monty is almost entirely seen as an ally.
