Question 1 of 10
1. Revenant wields a revolver and aims to use it as a bounty hunter. That translates very well to the one role Omeda Studios has recommended for Revenant. What role is it? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. Revenant's stat build is extremely slanted, as most could determine by just looking at him. What is his highest stat? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. Revenant's Passive is the fitfully named Bounty Hunter. This is a simple beast, giving Revenant an additional reward whenever he manages to kill an enemy player. What does he receive? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. Revenant faces a unique problem: unlike other ranged characters, Revenant must reload his gun at or before every four shots fired. There is a positive to this though, being that the fourth and final shot in the chamber will be the most devastating. What does the fourth shot do that the first three do not? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Revenant's Alternate Ability is unfortunately just a mechanism to reload his gun. So we'll move to his Primary Ability, Obliterate. This Ability deals strictly Physical damage, shooting out ten ethereal missiles at targets. Yet, despite dealing Physical damage, the majority of its scaling comes from an odd place. What does this Ability scale the most with? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Scar is Revenant's Secondary Ability, causing him to Mark a target. Marking a target has a couple of nasty side effects for victims, including allowing Revenant to status them if his victim isn't careful. What status can Scar potentially facilitate? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Reckoning is Revenant's Ultimate Ability, and a standout, unique one at that. Incidentally, this Ultimate will always do the exact same amount of direct damage to victims, regardless of any particular circumstance. How much damage is immediately dealt to targets as Revenant uses Reckoning on them? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. Like all Heroes, Revenant may choose one of three Hero Augments. His first choice is Quickdraw, offering a very simple but appreciable singular buff. What does Revenant gain here? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Spectral Bounty factors as Revenant's second Augment. This one uniquely allows him to straight up steal stats from other players. What stats are these? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. Hellfire Blast is Revenant's final Augment of choice. This one specifically helps Revenant's last shot in the chamber, enhancing its damage output slightly and letting it do what? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Revenant wields a revolver and aims to use it as a bounty hunter. That translates very well to the one role Omeda Studios has recommended for Revenant. What role is it?

Answer: Carry

Revenant's damage output is very strong, easily justifying his claim to a Carry role.

Unfortunately for Revenant, he is like Kira in that he has below average flexibility compared to other Carry characters, making it difficult to take him anywhere other than Carry.

Some Carry characters, such as Sparrow and Twinblast, have strong damaging Abilities and can be effective Midlaners. Like Kira, Revenant's Abilities mainly aim to set him up to deal damage through his Basics, and themselves do not deal amazing damage; as such, Revenant is a poor choice for the Midlane.

Revenant also suffers from an exclusive problem where he is forced to spend time reloading after firing four shots. This leaves him exposed and makes him very easy to pressure, unless he has an allied Support to give him a hand and cover for him when doing so.

Finally, Revenant in the Jungle is so laughable that it actually has become a running joke amongst the community. Revenant sports a Root in his kit, which players will funnily, in the most non serious way possible, joke as being extremely overpowered and justification for Revenant to see use as a Jungler. Nobody with any sense will actually, seriously suggest Revenant should be a Jungler though.

As such, Revenant should generally only be played as a Carry. As always, a player skilled enough could make him work elsewhere (even the Jungle) but will be at a disadvantage doing so.
2. Revenant's stat build is extremely slanted, as most could determine by just looking at him. What is his highest stat?

Answer: Basic Attack Power

Revenant is one of the slowest Carry characters in the game, with barely any means to enhance his mobility and one of the slowest walk speeds in the game. He also clearly isn't set up to take a lot of hits, like any Carry character.

Revenant and his gun truly are facing off against the world, as he has basically nothing else of value. That said, his gun has quite the kick and can deal pretty ridiculous amounts of damage, making Revenant out to be very feast or famine.
3. Revenant's Passive is the fitfully named Bounty Hunter. This is a simple beast, giving Revenant an additional reward whenever he manages to kill an enemy player. What does he receive?

Answer: Extra gold

Specifically, Revenant will receive 25 extra gold, plus an additional 25 for every bounty stack his victim had accumulated.

Bounty stacks are accumulated by any character who records two kills or more against enemy players without dying. Each kill added to the streak is a bounty stack. So if Revenant manages a kill on someone who was on a three kill streak, he will receive an extra 100 gold on top of usual rewards for a kill.
4. Revenant faces a unique problem: unlike other ranged characters, Revenant must reload his gun at or before every four shots fired. There is a positive to this though, being that the fourth and final shot in the chamber will be the most devastating. What does the fourth shot do that the first three do not?

Answer: Guaranteed critical hit (if the shot lands)

In order to guarantee a critical hit, every single character in the game except for Revenant would be required to build five of their six items as Critical Chance items, as these items give Critical Chance in 20% dosages.

For Revenant, being able to assure a critical hit, for free, is obviously a pretty big deal. That said, because it must be the last shot in the chamber, it opens up an array of strategies on how best to use it, along with how to avoid wasting it. Some players will intentionally and quickly waste the first three shots just to get to the last one as fast as possible for the guaranteed crit. Some players will use the first three shots on minions, then use the fourth on an enemy player, or vice versa depending on the situation. There isn't really a "wrong" way to go about doing this, but each of the previous strategies have their sets of pros and cons. It will take time and practice to learn how best to work with Revenant's finicky gun.

Answer: Revenant's Magical Power

It scales more off of Revenant's Magical Power than it does off of his Physical Power, which is quite strange and not synergistic with Revenant's intended role or function at all. Revenant players will generally never even touch Magical Power, and for good reason as Revenant squarely deals Physical damage. Yet, if a player did want to increase Revenant's Magical Power via items, it would provide the biggest damage bonus to Obliterate possible.
6. Scar is Revenant's Secondary Ability, causing him to Mark a target. Marking a target has a couple of nasty side effects for victims, including allowing Revenant to status them if his victim isn't careful. What status can Scar potentially facilitate?

Answer: Root

Scar can be really dangerous for enemies to deal with. Obliterate ordinarily flies off in completely random directions, with the ten missiles targeting everyone nearby. But if a target has previously been Marked with Scar, all ten of these missiles will target that one enemy instead.

If Revenant manages to hit a Marked target four times after Marking them, he will Root them. Obliterate makes doing this effortless, as ten missiles will almost immediately fulfill the four hit requirement. But if that isn't an option, precise gunsmanship with Revenant's four-round revolver could still get the job done and apply Root to a Marked target. If hitting them four times like this somehow didn't kill them, anyway.

It is worth noting only Revenant himself can deliver the four hits needed to Root a Marked target. Allied hits on Marked targets do not count.

Answer: 1 damage

Reckoning itself is not intended to deal damage, and will virtually never be used as a finishing blow itself. That said, hilariously, if Revenant has the Vanquisher item and uses Reckoning on a target beneath 5% of their health, the 1 damage inflicted by Reckoning would trigger Vanquisher's Execute and immediately kill the target. While opportunities to do this are very rare, this would be an incredibly hilarious way to use Reckoning.

When activating Reckoning, Revenant will spawn both himself and the target in the Nether Realm for several seconds. While in the Nether Realm, Revenant and his target are intangible to everything other than each other and towers. This means Revenant cannot be damaged by enemies other than his Reckoning target or the enemy tower, and he cannot receive support from his allies; this extends to his victim as well.

This Ultimate is unique in that it completely forces a 1 on 1 fight regardless of where or when it is used. This could be useful in allowing Revenant to finish off a target without worrying about their allies intervening.

Alternatively, it could be used defensively. If Revenant is being pressured by multiple enemies, he can choose the least threatening, use Reckoning on them, then flee the scene knowing that only the target could disrupt him at this point.

Notably, Reckoning targets start their time in the Nether Realm immediately having a massive Slow applied to them very briefly. If Revenant is using Reckoning to finish off a foe, this aspect makes it very difficult for them to escape if they were trying to flee from him. It would also make it very difficult for a pursuing threat to catch up to a fleeing Revenant.
8. Like all Heroes, Revenant may choose one of three Hero Augments. His first choice is Quickdraw, offering a very simple but appreciable singular buff. What does Revenant gain here?

Answer: Faster reload speed

Since Revenant will be reloading very frequently, lessened down time is about as useful as can be. As such, this is definitely Revenant's "safest" Augment choice.
9. Spectral Bounty factors as Revenant's second Augment. This one uniquely allows him to straight up steal stats from other players. What stats are these?

Answer: Physical/Magical Power

Specifically, Revenant will steal 10% of these stats from his targets every time he hits them with Reckoning. The 'stolen' effect lingers until Reckoning comes off of cooldown, at which point his victim gets their full stats back. However, if Revenant manages to kill whoever he pickpocketed while he is in possession of their stats, he will permanently keep 25% of whatever he stole from them.

It is worth noting that even if he does kill them, his victims will receive their stats back, so he can't actually permanently weaken enemies.

But the applications of this are pretty clear, weakening enemies Revenant is actively fighting when he needs them weakened.
10. Hellfire Blast is Revenant's final Augment of choice. This one specifically helps Revenant's last shot in the chamber, enhancing its damage output slightly and letting it do what?

Answer: Ignore Bonus Armor

"Bonus" Armor applies to any Armor which is acquired strictly through the acquisition of an item. It does not apply to base stats.

If staring down an enemy team featuring numerous tanky characters, this Augment would be a fantastic idea. Revenant can, at times, lack the raw power needed to blow through especially tanky characters like Steel or Mourn particularly quickly. This Augment solves that problem quite nicely, and is the best Augment of choice if the player is facing a tanky enemy team.
