Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these films feature the character Tommy Jarvis?

Answer: "Part 4", "Part 5", "Part 6"

In "Part 4", Tommy is a 12 year old boy who lives at Crystal Lake. In "Part 5", Tommy is a 16 year old who is entering a mental institution. In "Part 6", Tommy tries to destroy Jason's body, but instead, brings him back to life.
2. Who is Jason's first kill in "Friday the 13th Part 2" (1981)?

Answer: Alice

Alice survived the first film, but at the begining of the second, she goes down to the kitchen to make some food. At first, she hears a noise but it is just a black cat. Then, she opens the refrigerator, and is scared by the severed head of Mrs. Voorhees. Finally, a stranger (Jason) comes up from behind her and stabs her in the temple with an ice pick.
Crazy Ralph was also in the first film, and was also killed off in the second. Annie and Marcie were kills in the first film.
3. In "Friday the 13th Part 5" (1985), who is a copycat killer of Jason?

Answer: Roy Burns

Roy Burns acts as a copycat killer to avenge the death of his son, Joey, who was killed by Vic, a patient at a mental institution, with an axe to his back. Roy was a paramedic who arrives at the scene of his son's death. At the scene, the other paramedic, Duke, makes jokes about the scene, which angers Roy. Duke is later butchered in his ambulance. The Sheriff described him as a loner.
4. In which "Friday the 13th" film does Jason wear a burlap sack over his head instead of his trademark hockey mask?

Answer: "Friday the 13th Part 2" (1981)

"Part 2" is the only film in the original series that Jason does not wear his trademark hockey mask. We actually do not see Jason's whole body until he kills Vickie. We only catch portions of his body, but never his head until this point. In "Jason X" however, Jason receives an upgraded mask. He still wears the old one, but when he gets upgraded, he gets a different look and mask.
5. In the original film series, who is Jason's first kill with his trademark machete?

Answer: Scott ("Part 2")

All of these victims are macheted, but Scott is the first. He is caught in one of Jason's traps, so Terry leaves to get a knife and cut the rope. While she is gone, Jason slashes Scott's throat with a machete.
6. In the original film series, who is Jason's first kill wearing his trademark hockey mask?

Answer: Vera

When we first see Jason in this scene in "Friday the 13th Part III", Vera mistakes him for Shelly, but then she realizes it is not Shelly, but an unknown stranger (Jason). She is too late because once she comes to her senses, Jason fires a spear into her eye.
7. In "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday", who is the first person to be possessed by Jason?

Answer: The Coroner

All of these men are possessed by Jason, but the coroner is the first. Jason is ambushed by the FBI and blown up. During the coroner's autopsy of Jason he eats Jason's heart. He then becomes possessed and kills his assistant, two FBI agents, Alexis, Deborah, Luke and Edna. After Jason leaves his body, he possesses Josh.
8. In which film in the original series does Jason first do the infamous "sleeping-bag kill"?

Answer: Friday the 13th Part 7

In "Friday the 13th Part 7", Judy is a camper nearby Crystal Lake with her boyfriend, Dan. Judy is waiting for Dan in their tent, but Dan is killed when Jason breaks his neck. When Judy is in the tent, she thinks Dan is coming, but it is Jason. Jason grabs her sleeping bag and slams it against a tree until she is dead.
In "Jason X", Jason also does this to two women in a virtual reality sequence set up by Tsunaron.
9. Why does Mrs. Voorhees kill the camp counselors in "Friday the 13th" (1980)?

Answer: The counselors did not watch Jason while he drowned.

Mrs. Voorhees tells Alice that when Jason was a boy, he was not a good swimmer. In 1957, Jason drowned at Camp Crystal Lake because the counselors were not paying attention to him. The next year, on Jason's birthday (June 13), two of the counselors were mysteriously murdered, and the camp closed.
10. Who reopened Camp Crystal Lake in "Friday the 13th" (1980)?

Answer: Steve Christy

In 1979, Steve Christy reopened the camp after the two murders took place. Then, once again, mysterious murders began to take place. Six of the other counselors are killed one by one. When Christy leaves a diner on a rainy evening, his jeep gets stuck.

He asks a local policeman for a ride, but he cannot drive him the whole way. Christy walks the rest of the way and runs into Mrs. Voorhees. She kills Christy with a hunting knife into his stomach.
