Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Goldfinger:" Which Bond lover dies a golden death in this film?

Answer: Jill Masterson

Jill Masterson (Shirley Eaton), a former employee of Auric Goldfinger (Gert Frobe), dies of "skin suffocation" by being covered in gold paint after a night of passion with Bond (Sean Connery). It was a classic death scene.

Tilly Masterson (Tania Mallet) is killed by Oddjob (Harold Sakata) while she is seeking revenge on Goldfinger for the death of her sister Jill. She doesn't get a chance to be a Bond lover.

Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) is Goldfinger's personal pilot. After a romp with Bond she helps foil Goldfinger's dastardly plan to kill thousands of people and blow up Fort Knox.

Miss Moneypenny (Lois Maxwell) is M's (Bernard Lee) secretary. She is evidently one of the few Bond women who hasn't been his lover.
2. "You Only Live Twice:" Which Bond lover dies in bed in this film?

Answer: Aki

Aki (Akiko Wakabayashi) is a Japanese SIS agent who is killed after a night of passion by poison meant for Bond (Sean Connery). Bond shoots the anonymous poisoner.

Kissy Suzuki (Mie Hama) is another Japanese SIS agent who "marries" Bond as a cover. She is a Bond lover who actually survives.

Helga Brandt (Karin Dor) is a Spectre villainess who is eaten by Blofeld's (Donald Pleasance) piranha fish for failing to kill Bond. She is a Bond lover to set him up to be killed.

Ling (Tsai Chin) is an undercover MI6 agent in Hong Kong. She is a Bond lover whose tryst was interrupted by gunfire that supposedly kills Bond.
3. "On Her Majesty's Secret Service:" Which Bond lover is gunned down at the end of this film?

Answer: Teresa di Vicenzo (Tracy Bond)

Teresa "Tracy" di Vicenzo (Diana Rigg), an Italian Contessa, daughter of former crime boss, Marc Ange Draco (Gabriele Ferzetti), wins Bond's (George Lazenby) heart. They marry and she is killed by Irma Bunt and Blofeld (Telly Savalas) in a drive-by shooting. Tracy and Bond had "all the time in the world."

Ruby Bartlett (Angela Scoular) is a patient at Blofeld's clinic. She and Bond (as Sir Hilary Bray) shared a few hours between the sheets. She seemed very happy with their tryst.

Nancy (Catherina Von Schell) is another patient at Blofeld's clinic. She gets into Bond's room using a nail file and she and Bond (again as Sir Hilary Bray) share an amorous hour or two. She also seemed very happy with their dalliance.

Irma Bunt (Ilse Steppat) is Blofeld's hatchet woman. Bond wouldn't be caught dead with her.
4. "Live and Let Die:" Which Bond lover is shot by a scarecrow in this film?

Answer: Rosie Carver

Rosie Carver (Gloria Hendry) is a treacherous CIA agent in San Monique. She is eventually killed by gunfire from Kananga's (Yaphet Kotto) scarecrow after sex with Bond (Roger Moore).

Solitaire (Jane Seymour) is Kananga's psychic and Bond's main love interest. She loses her virginity and her psychic powers after making love with Bond.

Miss Moneypenny (Lois Maxwell) is M's (Bernard Lee) secretary. She flirts with Bond at the fling of a hat, but Bond is hands off of "government" property.

Miss Caruso (Madeline Smith) is an Italian agent whom Bond romances at the beginning of the film. She survives and seems very happy with her tryst.
5. "The Man with the Golden Gun:" Which Bond lover is killed with a difficult shot in this film?

Answer: Andrea Anders

Andrea Anders (Maud Adams) is an employee and lover of Francisco Scaramanga (Christopher Lee). She wants him dead. He kills her for betraying him with Bond (Roger Moore).

Mary Goodnight (Britt Ekland) is a British agent helping(?) Bond. She eventually shares some "goodnights" with Bond, especially on a slow boat from China.

Chew Mee (Francoise Therry) is a nude swimmer at Hai Fat's (Richard Loo) home. She only shares some coy banter with Bond, but it is obvious that she would share more if they had time.

Miss Moneypenny (Lois Maxwell) is M's (Bernard Lee) ever present secretary. At least you can easily eliminate this choice.
6. "Never Say Never Again:" Which Bond lover is killed by a pen gun in this film?

Answer: Fatima Blush

Fatima Blush (Barbara Carrera) is a Spectre agent and a henchwoman of Maximillian Largo (Klaus Maria Brandauer). Bond (Sean Connery) has a romp with her on a boat while heading out for a SCUBA dive. He kills her with a slightly defective pen gun after a motorcycle car chase.

Domino Petachi (Kim Basinger) is Largo's mistress and Bond's main love interest. She survives various close calls.

Nicole (Saskia Cohen Tanugi) is Bond's aide in Nice. They may have been lovers. It isn't clear. She is killed by Fatima.

Patricia Fearing (Prunella Gee) is a physiotherapist at Shrublands Clinic which Bond is sent to (to purge "free-radicals"). She spends the night with Bond and survives.
7. "Goldeneye:" Which Bond lover is killed by a collision with a tree in this film?

Answer: Xenia Onatopp

Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen) is a Georgian thrill killer and Alec Trevelyan's (Sean Bean) henchwoman. She is a sadist who enjoys torturing and killing her enemies between her strong thighs. She is crushed against a tree when Bond (Pierce Brosnan) causes the helicopter to which she is cabled to crash.

Natalya Simonova (Izabella Scorupco) is a skilled programmer. She is the only survivor and an eyewitness to the attack of GoldenEye on its own control center at Severnaya. She helps Bond and follows him to Cuba to disarm the second GoldenEye.

Irina (Minnie Driver) is an untalented singer. She is the mistress of Russian former spy turned businessman, Valentin Dmitrovich Zukovsky (Robbie Coltrane).

Miss Moneypenny (Samantha Bond) is still M's (Dame Judi Dench) secretary (a younger version). I could have used M, but that would really have been a stretch.
8. "Tomorrow Never Dies:" Which lover dies in a failed plot to get rid of Bond in this film?

Answer: Paris Carver

Paris Carver (Teri Hatcher) is a former Bond (Pierce Brosnan) lover who is now Elliot Carver's (Jonathan Pryce) trophy wife. She is killed by Dr. Kaufman (Vincent Schiavelli) on orders from Carver in a failed murder/suicide plot to kill Bond.

Colonel Wai Lin (Michelle Yeoh) is a skilled Chinese spy and Bond's ally. Naturally, they become lovers eventually. She is another survivor.

Professor Inga Bergstrom (Cecilie Thomsen) is a beautiful blonde who gives Bond lessons in Danish among other things. Her only danger is a broken heart from the fickle Bond.

PR Lady (Daphne Deckers) is Carver's PR flak. He fires her when Bond pulls the plug on an important TV broadcast. Not a Bond lover, but given a chance, who knows? Weren't you tired of Miss Moneypenny?
9. "The World is not Enough:" Which of his lovers does Bond kill in this film?

Answer: Elektra King

Elektra King (Sophie Marceau) is an oil heiress who wants to make her mark on the world by sealing an oil trade route with a nuclear explosion. She conspires with her former kidnapper and now lover, Renard (Robert Carlyle). Bond (Pierce Brosnan) is intimate with Elektra before he finds out about her true nature. After Bond escapes from a Renaissance torture chair, he shoots Elektra when she won't stop Renard from carrying out their nefarious plot.

Dr. Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) is a nuclear physicist assisting Bond in his mission. She has many close calls with death and she and Bond end up as lovers with various double entendres punctuating their tryst. She is a lover who survives the experience.

Dr. Molly Warmflash (Serena Scott Thomas) is an MI6 physician who gives Bond "A clean bill of health." She is another lover who survives.

Giulietta da Vinci/Cigar Girl (Maria Grazia Cucinotta) is an experienced assassin working for Renard. She kills herself near the beginning of the film by shooting a hot-air balloon propane tank. Bond is dropped onto the Millennium Dome from the destroyed balloon that he had been hanging from. She isn't a Bond lover, but she is "hot."
10. "Casino Royale:" Which Bond lover drowns in this film?

Answer: Vesper Lynd

Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) is an agent for HM Treasury assigned to supervise Bond (Daniel Craig) and finance his poker table exploits. Although antagonistic at first they eventually become lovers, of course. Vesper winds up stealing the millions in winnings to turn over to the bad guys in order to save a former lover. She gives up hope and drowns in an elevator cage in a collapsing building in Venice. Bond tries to revive her and fails. Vesper played by Ursula Andress in the 1967 "Casino Royale" film dies along with everyone else when the casino is blown up.

Solange Dimitrios (Caterina Murino) is Dimitrios's wife, whom Bond seduces. She is killed by Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) for unintentionally revealing one of his plans to Bond.

Valenka (Ivana Milicevic) is Le Chiffre's girlfriend. Not a Bond lover, but he does save her and Le Chiffre from death at one point.

M (Dame Judi Dench) is the strict head of MI6. Though she has doubts that she promoted Bond too soon and she doesn't like his rash actions, she acts as an important guiding figure to him. He knows her real name, her password and where she lives. Although she isn't a Bond lover there were very few prominent women in the movie. Where is Moneypenny when you really need her? Dench was the only cast member carried through from the Brosnan films.
