Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I was a realtor and an adoptive father of a young woman in high school. Who am I?

Answer: Peter Griffith

Griffith, born on October 23rd, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland, had a small role as Mr. Morgan Strode. Morgan was Laurie's adoptive father, since he adopted her from the Myers' family. When Laurie went off to school, Mr. Strode told Laurie to leave a key under the mat at a residence he was selling. Laurie ran into Tommy Doyle and he asked her why she had to drop off the key and she said it was a favor for her father, since it was his job.

When Laurie went to drop off the key, Tommy told her to not go up to the house since it was where "the boogeyman" lived. Griffith's only acting credit was as Mr. Stode in John Carpenter's "Halloween".
2. My character babysat for a young boy and girl but she feared for her life when the killer stalked her. She told both the young boy and girl to go to another house and tell them to call the police. Who am I?

Answer: Jamie Lee Curtis

Curtis, a native of Los Angeles, California, was cast in the lead role of Laurie Strode. Laurie was best friends with Annie Brackett and Lynda van der Klok and was seen walking home from school one day with them. Laurie stopped at one point and Lynda asked what was wrong and Laurie said she forgot her Chemistry book. Lynda scoffed and said she always forgot her Chemistry book as well as her Math and French books. Laurie saw a mysterious person and feared that someone was stalking her, Lynda and Annie. Annie thought it was someone who wanted to go out with Laurie but she told Laurie that if this guy bothered her anymore, to tell him to buzz off or, or if he was cute, to ask him out. Laurie commented that she had a crush on a boy named Ben Tramer.

At the end of the movie, Laurie went over to a house and saw the dead bodies of Annie, Lynda and Bob (Lynda's boyfriend). Michael Myers attacked her but she fought back when she stabbed him with a knitting needle and a clothes hanger. Dr. Sam Loomis came to the house where Laurie fought off Michael and shot him.

When Michael fell out the window, Laurie asked Loomis if that was "the boogeyman" and he said it was. Curtis starred in the films, "True Lies", "Virus", and "House Arrest".
3. I portrayed an adult, babysitter killer who escaped from a sanitarium. Who am I?

Answer: Nick Castle

Castle, born in 1947 in Los Angeles, California, played Michael Myers in the first installment of the 'Halloween' film series. Michael Myers resided in a sanitarium called Smith's Grove-Warren County Sanitarium, when a court sentenced him to get treatment after he killed his sister, Judith Myers, on October 31st, 1963.

When he was at the sanitarium, he was treated by a child psychiatrist named Dr. Sam Loomis. On October 30th, 1978, Michael Myers escaped from the sanitarium and made his way to Haddonfield, Illinois, to kill his half sister, Laurie Strode. Dr. Loomis made his way to Haddonfield to try and stop Michael. Michael ended up murdering Annie when he slit her throat, Bob when he stabbed him to death and Lynda when he strangled her with a telephone cord.

When Dr. Sam Loomis shot Michael at the end of the movie, Michael fell out the window but, when Loomis peered out the window shortly thereafter, Michael had disappeared. Castle appeared in the films, "Dark Star", "Escape from New York" and "The Boy Who Could Fly".
4. I played Laurie's blonde haired friend and I asked my boyfriend to get me a beer. My boyfriend never came back alive! Who am I?

Answer: P.J. Soles

Soles landed the part of Lynda van der Klok in "Halloween." Lynda was first seen when she walked home from school with Laurie. She complained about how she would be very busy the next day, since she had three new cheers to learn for the cheerleading team.

The football game was in the afternoon, she had to get her hair done at 5 p.m. and the dance was at 8 p.m. Lynda always said the word "totally". Near the end of the movie, Lynda and Bob went to a house and made love. At one point, Lynda asked Bob to get her a beer and, when he went to get her beer, Michael Myers appeared and stabbed him to death. Michael went back to the bedroom where Lynda was and he dressed as a ghost. Lynda thought it was Bob and, when she spoke to "Bob", he did not answer. Lynda called Laurie and it was when she did that Michael strangled her with the phone cord. Soles had parts in the films, "Carrie", "Stripes", and "Private Benjamin".
5. My character was the young boy who Laurie babysat; I warned her about "the boogeyman". Who am I?

Answer: Brian Andrews

They asked Tommy if he knew what happened on Halloween and Tommy said they got candy. The boys told him "the boogeyman" was going to come after him and, when Tommy went to leave, they tripped him and his pumpkin split open. Laurie babysat Tommy that night (Halloween) and Tommy showed her some comic books he had. Tommy watched "The Thing" and it a little bit later when he became frightened at the sight of Michael Myers outside.

At one point, Laurie told Tommy she killed "the boogeyman" and Tommy told her he could not die. Andrews had guest starring parts on the TV series, "Quincy M.E.", "The Bronx Zoo", and "Kung Fu".

He was the fourth actor to play Michael William Horton on the NBC daytime drama series, "Days of our Lives".

Annie got a call from her boyfriend, Paul, and she told Lindsey she had to go pick him up so she would take her over to Laurie's house until she got back. Annie took Lindsey over to Laurie's house and Lindsey and Tommy watched the movie, "The Thing". Lindsey was last seen when she ran out of the house and down to the McKenzie's house since that was what Laurie had instructed her and Tommy to do. Richards starred in the movies, "The Car", "Eaten Alive", and "The Watcher in the Woods".
7. My character was the psychiatrist for the babysitter killer. Who am I?

Answer: Donald Pleasence

Pleasence, a native of Nottinghamshire, England, landed the role of Dr. Sam Loomis. Dr. Loomis was Michael's child psychiatrist when Michael was at the sanitarium. Dr. Loomis was at the sanitarium on the night that Michael escaped and went to Haddonfield.

At one point Dr. Loomis went to the cemetery where Judith Myers was buried and discovered that her grave had disappeared. On Halloween night, Dr. Loomis scared some children away from a house so he could hunt down Michael. He died on February 2nd, 1995, at the age of 75.
8. I was the curly haired friend of Laurie's who wound up stuck in a laundromat. Who am I?

Answer: Nancy Loomis

On Halloween night, Annie babysat for Lindsey but Paul called and said he needed her to come get him. Before Annie went to get Paul, she went to the laundromat to wash her clothes.

She got locked inside and tried to climb out through a window but got stuck.

When Annie got in her car to go pick Paul up, Michael came from behind (he waited for her in the back seat) and slit her throat. Loomis was seen in the films "Assault on Precinct 13", John Carpenter's "The Fog", and "The Sea Gypsies".

Annie picked up Laurie in the afternoon on Halloween of 1978. As Annie drove off with Laurie in the car, she saw her father at a store and said hi to him and asked what happened.

Sheriff Brackett answered that someone had broken in and he thought it was kids. Annie told him he blamed everything on kids. Sheriff Brackett and Dr. Loomis teamed up to find Michael Myers. Cyphers had guest starring stints on the TV series', "Any Day Now", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and "Hyperion Bay".
10. I was Michael's sister and I found myself on the wrong end of a knife and died! Who am I?

Answer: Sandy Johnson
