He released 'Back To The Light' in 1992 and the first single from the album, 'Driven By You' won an Ivor Novello award and reached #6 in the charts after being used by Ford in their television adverts. The single was released the day after Freddie Mercury's death but according to Freddie's wishes, the release went ahead anyway.

Answer: Macbeth

Brian has also played on a Foo Fighters album, written songs for wife Anita Dobson as well as played on her album and produced the music for the film of Pinocchio.

Brian met Freddie through his fellow band memeber at the time, Tim Staffell. Freddie and Tim both studied at the Ealing College of Art, where Freddie studied Graphic Design.

Answer: Edward Van Halen

Brian didn't actually play the lead guitar in the band, but instead sang lead vocals. So much talent...

Answer: 3

He plays an acoustic for the intro, a Fender Telecaster for the main bit and his own Red Special for the outro, while Freddie plays the guitar (first an acoustic and later a Telecaster) with great pride. For proof of this, watch and listen carefully to 'Live At Wembley '86'.
