1. Bienvenue! The 50th Eurovision Song Contest took place in Kyiv, Ukraine after 2004 when Ruslana won with 'Wild Dances'. We were guided through the two nights of the contest this year by two Ukrainian hosts, informally known and presented as whom?

Answer: Masha and Pasha

Maria Efrosinina, known on television as Masha, and Pavlo Shylko, known on radio as DJ Pasha hosted the two-night contest. Masha filled in the presenting job, as last year's winner Ruslana pulled out of the job two weeks prior the event. She did however make an appearance in the interval.
2. In the 50th edition, three countries which had never competed or were returning to the contest after a break competed. Bulgaria and Moldova were competing for the first time in a bid to win on their debut, but which country returned after a seven year absence?
