Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. We'll start off with one that everyone should know: "People try to put us down"

Answer: My Generation

Original released off The Who's first album "My Generation" in 1965. The ultimate classic rock anthem. Still going strong after all these years.
2. "I sit looking 'round, I look at my face in the mirror. I know I'm worth nothing without you"

Answer: Bargain

From the 1971 album "Who's Next". In my opinion (and I'm sure others will agree), their greatest album.
3. "You hold the gun and I hold the wound. We stare looking into each others eyes"

Answer: Naked Eye

Originally released on the 1974 "Odds and Sods" album. "Naked Eye" is my 3rd favorite Who song.
4. "Now the walls are all clawed and scratched like by some soul insane"

Answer: However Much I Booze

From the 1975 album "Who by Numbers". John Entwistle designed the album cover, which appropriately was a drawing of The Who to be connected by numbers.
5. "On the dry and dusty road, the nights we spent apart alone"

Answer: Love Reign O'er Me

From the 1973 album "Quadrophenia". Roger Daltrey's vocals are just so incredible on this song. "Love Reign O'er Me" is my 2nd favorite Who song.
6. If you're troubled and you can't relax, close your eyes and think of this"

Answer: Armenia City in the Sky

From the 1967 album "Sell Out". A fun album with great songs and great commercial jingles!
7. Ready for another easy one? "Creepy, crawly, creepy crawly"

Answer: Boris the Spider

Originally released on the 1966 album "A Quick One". Of course this is a classic Who song! Written and sung by the late great John Entwistle.
8. "I listened and I heard music in a word and words when you played your guitar"

Answer: Pure and Easy

Released on their 1974 "Odds and Sods" album. I'm a 2nd generation Who fan and "Odds and Sods" was actually the first album that got me hooked on The Who.
9. "You talk to them they laugh aloud"

Answer: I Need You

Released on their 1966 album "A Quick One". One of the very few songs the late Keith Moon wrote. A beautiful and catchy love song.
10. "It's the singer not the song that makes the music move along"

Answer: Join Together

It was recorded in 1972 yet never made it onto any studio album. It was included on several compliation albums. And, if you were wondering what my favorite Who song was..well it's "Join Together". Hope you had fun and sang a few songs along the way!
