Answer: Nikki

The character Nikki is targeted because of his addiction-prone personality and his frustration with the status quo.

Answer: Dr. X

Dr. X is first named in the song "Revolution Calling". He is the person responsible for Nikki's descent into crime and further drug addiction.

Answer: Sister Mary and Father William

Mary worked the S&M shows in Times Square. At 17 she met Father William, who arranged her cloister with "Our Lady of Immaculate Pain". A new life. A different way of living. Except for her debt to him, which was expected to be paid in full, weekly, "...on the altar, like a sacrifice." When she was 18, Father William introduced her to a man named Dr X. Now she works for him.
8. The singer who plays the sister has a very haunting and beautiful voice. What is her real name?

Answer: Pamela Moore

I really wish I knew if Pamela Moore has done any solo work because I truly think she has an outstanding voice.
9. Our main character is easily manipulated, because he is addicted to which drug?

Answer: Heroin

This addiction is talked about in one of the better songs on the album called 'The Needle Lies.'
10. What is the longest song on the album?

Answer: Suite Sister Mary

This song is nearly 11 minutes and probably the best track on the whole CD.
11. All background vocals, speaking and character noises were provided by a very eclectic choir named 'The Moronic ________ of Morin Heights'.

Answer: Monks

This group is actually the staff of a record studio in Canada called Le Studio.
12. Chris DeGarmo was one of the guitarists on the album. Name the other.

Answer: Michael Wilton

Geoff is the vocalists and plays keyboards. Eddie plays bass, and Scott is the drummer.
13. In the late stages of the album, according to the song's lyrics, the sister is found dead. How did she die?

Answer: Hanged from her rosary beads.

Nikki finds her. We never know exactly who killed her, or if it was suicide. Although, on the video contained in the box set "Video:Mindcrime", it indicates that the sister committed suicide. The band also shows her as having been shot when the set is performed live.
14. Where does our main character end up?

Answer: State Hospital

The end of the album shows Nikki in the hospital, right where the album started. Sort of a flashback sequence happens which is really nifty.
15. What is the name of the nurse who gives our main character his tranquilizer shot in the beginning of the album?

Answer: Debbie

Debbie Wheeler plays the nurse. This information came from Chris DeGarmo during an interview.
