Stevie Wonder was born in Saginaw, Michigan, but born with the name Steveland Hardaway Judkins. He was premature and put in an incubator.

Answer: Damage from being placed in an incubator

The incubator contained too much oxygen which caused cataracts to grow behind each eye, leaving Stevie blind. He thought he was very lucky to have lived.
3. When Stevie was four years old, his family moved to which large city, a move that steered Stevie into music?

Answer: Detroit

During that time, he was part of a church where he sang and played many instruments. The instruments he played were the harmonica, the congas, and the piano.
