After Devin Townsend essentially disbanded SYL in 2007, the rest of the band, Gene Hoglan, Jed Simon and Byron Stroud, all continued their work with Zimmers Hole (They had been members of ZH in years before, but SYL was the main project).

Chris Valagao has been Zimmers' front man since their beginning in 1991, Jed Simon is the second guitarist the band has had, Byron Stroud is the bands' bassist, and Chris Stanley is the first guitarist the band had.

All a part of the character he plays, Valagao often makes it known that he was in fact raised in hell, which explains his "costume"; he has painted himself red, attaches horns to his head, and essentially turns himself into the devil or a demon. Nathan Explosion, of Dethklok fame, appeared on the track to educate people on the importance of reading. It's also a fact that Gene Hoglan is the actual drummer for Dethklok, (but does not voice in the "Metalocalypse" TV show) and Nathan Explosion (voiced by Brendon Small) is the fictional lead singer for the band.

1312 has a very Viking type of feel to it, which is fitting, considering lead singer Chris Valagao is of Norwegian descent.

That's an easy one! Of course it's glam, it's right in the name! If you've heard "Shout At The Devil" by Motley Crue, you probably made the connection in the similar song name.

Venom it is! According to an interview MTV did with the Heathen himself, Jed Simon overheard something said between a member of Forbidden, and David Vincent of Morbid Angel, they were arguing about who was more metal! At one point the member of Forbidden turned to Vincent and said "Dude, when you were shouting at the devil, I was in league with Satan".

This essentially means, "When you were a poseur, I was the real deal". The reference was the song "In League With Satan" (Also covered on a special pressing of the CD), it was one of the tracks on Venom's first album "Welcome To Hell".
