Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When Peter and Lois go to KISSstock, Lois is offered the microphone to sing the next line after "I wanna rock and roll all night...". What was her first guess?

Answer: and have a wonderful time

This quote comes from the season 3 episode "Road to Europe". Peter, a loyal member of the KISS army, is aghast that his wife has just been pretending to be a KISS fan all these years. But it all turns out alright when it becomes known that Lois had been quite close with Gene Simmons in her bachelorette days. Also in this episode, Brian and Stewie travel to England to visit the set of "Jolly Farm Revue".
2. Peter tells Chris "everything I say is a lie... except that...". What two words does he then repeat several times?

Answer: and that

This is from the season 2 episode "If I'm Dyin' I'm Lyin'". Lois wanted Chris to do his homework before watching television, and Peter told her Chris was already done. Chris asked his father why he lied. And Peter replied with this line. After the pairs' favourite show "Gumbel 2 Gumbel" gets cancelled Peter tells the network executive that Chris is dying in order to get the show back on the air.
3. Death rings the doorbell. When Peter answers it, he asks "are you Death?". Death sarcastically replies "No, I'm _________".

Answer: Calista Flockhart

From the season 2 episode "Death is a Bitch". Peter had written "deceased" on his HMO forms to avoid being paying the bill, and thought he had gotten away with it, until Death showed up at his door. This episode marks the first appearance of Death, and is the only episode in which he is voiced by Norm MacDonald.
4. "You know you're a redneck when your gun rack has a ___ _____ on it!"

Answer: gun rack

Season 3, "To Live and Die in Dixie". This is the episode where the Griffins enter the Witness Protection Program and move to the Deep South. After Jeff Foxworthy says this quote, Stewie replies "You suck!"
5. Randy Newman sits by the apple tree all day, singing about what he sees. What is the opening phrase of his song about the Griffins?

Answer: Fat man with his kids and dog

Season 2 episode "Da Boom". When Quahog was destroyed by Y2K, the Griffins set out to find a new place to live. They thought they'd found somewhere nice, but once they heard Randy Newman's song, they ran for the hills.
6. Stewie, running naked through the mall: "Help! I've escaped from _______'s basement!"

Answer: Kevin Spacey

Season 4: "Don't Make Me Over". Brian paid him to do this and they thought it was hilarious. Also in this episode, Meg gets a makeover and the family starts a band, eventually scheduled to perform on "Saturday Night Live".
7. Lois overhears Chris talking (slightly obscenely) on the phone, asking the caller what she is wearing. When she asks who he is speaking with, who do he say it is?

Answer: Grandma

Season 2, episode: "Brian in Love". After the caller responded to Chris' question (assumedly), he then says "Wow, I bet you can see right through that!" The main story of this episode is Brian having little "accidents" around the house and after seeing a therapist, he realizes he is in love with Lois.
8. Peter: "Can't we tell them your mother died?" Lois: "I'm not going to lie about something like that." Peter: "Fine, _______."

Answer: I'll kill your mother

This is from the holiday episode in season 3, "A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas." After coming up with this brilliant solution, Peter then adds "When did Christmas become so complicated?"
9. When Luke Perry gives Meg an opportunity to interview him and write a real article, as opposed to the made-up one Peter wrote, Meg takes him up to her room. Lois calls out after them, "Meg, _____________!"

Answer: keep your door open

Season 2, episode: "The Story on Page One". Peter wrote an article claiming Luke Perry was gay and submitted it to the school paper with Meg's name on it. Luke Perry finds out and is not pleased. Lois seems to be a little concerned with a handsome man alone with her teenage daughter, so she tells her to leave the door open.
*Note: Though the actual quote says "keep your door open", I have changed this to accept "leave your door open" as well, due to Player request/complaint.
10. Brian: "Mr. President, there's been a hurricane in New Orleans. George W. Bush: "Go away. I'm reading ________." What was President Bush reading?

Answer: Superfudge

This is a little aside in the season 5 episode "Fat Guy Strangler", demonstrating how people in authority come through in time of need. George Bush is up in his treehouse in this scene, and after Brian tries to convince him to come down because it's a national emergency, Dubya says "Aw, don't make me do stuff."
11. Meg: "You could kill all the girls who are prettier than me." Death: "Well, that would just leave ________."

Answer: England

Another one from the season 2 episode "Death is a Bitch". Poor Meg. Even Death, who is just a mass of bones and maggots under his cloak, thinks she is homely.
12. According to Cleveland Jr., what does his daddy always tell him?

Answer: Quit jumping on the bed!

Season 2, episode: "Love thy Trophy". The whole neighbourhood is working together to build a float for the parade. Kevin Swanson says that his father always tells him how important it is measure correctly and do everything properly. Mega-hyper Cleveland Jr. apparently needs to be told not to jump on his bed.
13. Chris, describing his artwork: "It's partially an expression of my teenage angst... but mostly it's ______".

Answer: a moo cow

Season 2, episode: "A Picture is Worth 1,000 Bucks". When an art dealer discovers the painting of Chris' that he made for Peter, Chris is whisked away to New York to become an artist. He is describing one of his new works here.
14. "Oh my God, Brian! There's a message in my Alphabits!" What was the message in Peter's cereal?

Answer: ooooo

Peter was amazed by this, but Brian barely looked up, simply remarking, "Peter, those are Cheerios." This is from the season 1 episode "The Son Also Draws". In this episode, Chris gets kicked out of the Boy Scouts and Peter tries desperately to get him back in.
15. Stewie: "What do you think you're doing?" Brian: "I'm cleaning myself." Stewie: "You were clean 15 minutes ago, now you're just _____________".

Answer: on vacation

Season 3, episode: "Stuck Together, Torn Apart". Brian and Stewie accidentally glued their hands together and need to wait two weeks for the company to send the glue disolver. They need to sleep in the same room, and Brian is licking himself right next to Stewie. Also in this episode, Lois and Peter have a trial separation. Lois goes out with Quagmire, while Peter scores a date with Jennifer Love Hewitt.
