Top o' the mornin' to ya! :-) I don't seem to recall ever coming across this blog and I can't walk away from it without contributing. I am not from Ireland, nor have I ever been to Ireland, but I happen to bear the most common surname in all of Ireland, so I'm sure I must have ancestors who came from that area. I don't mind admitting that I am stubborn as a mule about certain things, and I also rather enjoyed fist fighting in my younger years, mainly because I was quite good at it, Lord knows especially for a white man. Don't imagine I would have enjoyed it so much if I had been lousy at it. However, those days are long behind me now. These days I am just all about peace and love and friendship and having a few laughs and good times with people. Furthermore, I love U2 and I also love Irish Spring. What a fine, fresh scent it has! :-) On a final note, I also don't mind one little bit admitting that, as much as I love my country, if I were to ever have that golden ticket fall right in my lap with a one-way trip to the destination of my choice, I suppose that would have to be Ireland. As I say, I love my country, but I am just as fed up as I can be with all of the crime and death and hate from sea to shining sea. I'm afraid to leave my home after dark because of it. How can anyone be expected to be truly happy and satisfied with life in every way when they have to live like that? In the meantime, I'm sure it is so very unlikely that it will ever come to pass, so I just live with it and move on. Continue rocking by all means, my friends! :-) Reply #342. Feb 04 18, 3:29 AM |

One of my most favorite movies was "The Quiet Man" starring John Wayne and an Irish lass, Maureen O'Hara, filmed in Ireland. Reply #347. May 16 20, 7:09 AM |
