Answer: Thor
Nebula knew where Thanos would go and, with Captain Marvel's help, the remaining Avengers found Thanos alone on a planet. Thanos used the Infinity Stones to destroy themselves and it injured him. When the Avengers learned they couldn't reverse what Thanos did, Thor decapitated him. In "Avengers: Infinity War", Thanos told Thor in order to kill him they had to aim for the head.

Answer: The Chitauri
Loki takes control of Thanos's army of Chitauri to invade New York City. The aliens are also featured in flashbacks of Thanos's conquests in "Avengers: Infinity War" as he kills half of the planet Gamora is from.
The Kree are an alien race that abduct Captain Marvel after she is exposed to the Tesseract. A member of the Kree gives her his blood, making her a hybrid Kree-human, and she fights alongside them until she realizes that they have been manipulating her to make her their weapon. They are depicted as both human-looking, as well as blue-skinned. They are featured as antagonists in "Captain Marvel" as well as a few episodes of "Agents of Shield".
The Skrulls are shape-shifting aliens. In the comics, they use this ability to battle the Kree and attempt to destroy the Earth by impersonating many of the Avengers. In "Captain Marvel", they are depicted as refugees that are trying to escape the Kree.
The Outriders are featured in both "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame". They are Thanos's army to take over Earth in both films. There is no indication on why he switched from the Chitauri to the Outriders, but these aliens are not used by Loki in "The Avengers".

Answer: The Hulk
In space, the Asgardians are assaulted by Thanos' forces. Thanos, lifting Thor in his grip and dragging him across the deck of the ship, kindly asks Loki for the Tesseract while wielding his gauntlet. Loki suggests that he kill Thor; he won't give it up. But as Thanos places the Power Stone, recovered from Planet Xandar, against Thor's head, Loki relents, admitting that he stole the Tesseract from the vault in Asgard before it was destroyed by Surtur. Loki reveals the Tesseract, but not before the Hulk leaps in to go head-to-head against Thanos. Hulk, alone, is no match for the titan though, and he's quickly put out of commission. As Thor is restrained, it's Heimdall who saves Banner, calling upon the power of Bifrost to transport Hulk away before he's killed for his actions. Thanos takes the Tesseract, his second Infinity Stone, and crushes it, taking the stone from within and placing it into his gauntlet. He sends his warriors to Earth to find the two stones to be found there, but before they leave, Loki offers himself to travel with them as a guide. He's lying, as usual, and Thor notices that Loki plans to kill Thanos, but before Loki can swing his dagger at the foe, he's stopped. Thanos instead grabs Loki by the throat and snaps his neck, killing him instantly. Thanos departs with his followers, leaving Thor to die on his decaying ship all alone.
The Hulk, meanwhile, travels through the cosmos, landing in New York City...right through the ceiling of Dr. Stephen Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. All Banner can do is give the warning: Thanos is coming.

Answer: Paper Football
They play paper football (whether or not it was actual paper for the football). It took Nebula a while to understand the concept of the game, but once she did, she was able to kick a few field goals. She ends up winning (although Tony presumably let her, as he goes from being able to kick one easily to being unable to hit the goal at all).

Answer: Sokovia
In Sokovia, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, siblings who've been experimented on by Hydra, hide away while The Avengers infiltrate the facility they've been stowed away inside. The base, guarded by a strong energy shield, also happens to be the place where Loki's sceptre has been stored away. Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, the leader of the base, plans to surrender since his test subjects are not yet ready, but it appears that they've already vanished. The truth is, Pietro, with his super-speed, has already headed out to the forest to toy with the Avengers. His antics get Hawkeye shot by a bunker, so Black Widow calms down the Hulk and calls for an evacuation for him while the others head in. Iron Man gets inside first, using J.A.R.V.I.S. to download all of the Hydra base's info before locating a secret door and descending the staircase inside. What he finds is a Chitauri ship and, sure enough, Loki's sceptre, but Wanda Maximoff gets to him first, using her powers to influence his mind, convincing him of a vision in which he sees not only the ship come to life, but all of the Avengers dead before him. Realizing that he needs to do more to save them, he wields one of his gauntlets and grabs the sceptre while Pietro and Wanda watch on.

Answer: Sceptre
The Joint Dark Energy Division of S.H.I.E.L.D. goes into full lockdown as Nick Fury and Maria Hill arrive. Phil Coulson states that they don't know how bad the problem is, but Dr. Selvig recognized that an event had occurred; the Tesseract had seemingly turned itself on. Nick Fury orders a full evacuation; Selvig says they're a long way from controlling it; Clint, watching from above, says no one could've triggered it from what he's seen. And that's when the Tesseract creates a wormhole, allowing Loki to force his way through to the other side. Seemingly invulnerable to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s weapons, Loki takes control, using his sceptre to control Hawkeye and Selvig. Fury stores the Tesseract away while he can, but Clint shoots him in the chest, acting before the wormhole can cave the facility in. Fury, who survives the shot, communicates with Maria and she quickly gives chase. All of these players escape the facility as it crumbles into the Earth, but Loki gets away with the Tesseract. Fury calls in a Level 7; they're at war.

At the end of "Thor Ragnarok" the ending credit sequence showed Thanos' ship towering behind the Asgardian refugee ship. The start of "Avengers: Infinity War" had a distress signal asking for help telling whoever responded it was not a war vessel and that they had little soldiers. Inside, what was left of the Asgardian ship were many, many dead Asgardians including an injured Heimdall and Thor. After a brief battle between Hulk and Thanos, Heimdall used what was left of his power to send an unconscious Hulk to safety. Thanos told him that was a mistake and stabbed Heimdall in the heart killing him. Easter Egg: The man sending the distress call was the first "Thor" director Kenneth Branagh.

Answer: Natasha Romanoff
In New York, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, walking through the park, talk about Tony's dream wherein the two of them had a kid. They're interrupted, however, when Dr. Strange appears before them alongside Dr. Banner. It's important, they claim, since the fate of the universe is at stake. Wong later tells them that during the creation of the universe, six stones, each responsible for an element of human existence (space, reality, power, soul, mind, and time), were created and shot to different locations. Thanos plans to wipe out half of the universe, as he's been doing from planet to planet, but with two of the stones already in his possession, he's potentially the strongest being in the cosmos. With six it would be catastrophic. Banner recommends that they locate Vision, who has the Mind Stone embedded into his forehead, but Vision stopped communicating two weeks earlier and, as Stark says, the Avengers broke up. Banner convinces Tony that it'd be best to contact Steve Rogers but before he can, some of Thanos' followers touch down in New York and start a fight for Strange's Time Stone. The fight spans Manhattan, and while Tony and Wong are able to send one of Thanos' children away, the other grabs Strange, knocks him unconscious, and beams him up into his spacecraft to deal with later. Tony, aided by Peter Parker, manages to get onboard the ship as it ascends into space, and then there's not much to do but go along with it.
On Earth, Wong takes over the Sanctum to protect it in Strange's absence while Banner, unable to transform himself into the Hulk, finds Tony's dropped cell phone and dials Steve Rogers himself.

Answer: Bruce Banner
Tending to Clint on the way back, The Avengers celebrate their victory aboard their flight. Natasha and Bruce Banner both find solace in the fact that their 'lullaby' worked to pacify the Hulk while Tony tells J.A.R.V.I.S. to take the wheel. He also states that Dr. Cho will be setting herself up in Bruce's lab back home to tend to Clint when the time comes. Loki is thrilled to, finally, have Loki's staff to return to Asgard, but Tony wants to give it the once-over back at the Avengers' headquarters, formerly Stark Tower, in New York City.
When they arrive, Clint is taken in for surgery while Maria Hill takes stock. She informs Cap that Pietro and Wanda Maximoff are now in their systems, but they've gone missing. They both agree they'll probably show up again.
Tony's AI-enhanced suits, the Iron Legion, return to the base for repairs while Tony and Bruce join J.A.R.V.I.S. in reviewing the sceptre. The jewel, as J.A.R.V.I.S. finds, is very powerful and contains something of great interest. Further investigation shows that the technology inside is severely advanced in the way of robotics work. Both agree that it could be the key to creating Ultron, enhancing the Iron Legion protocol. Tony wants to update within the next three days, and without telling the others, because it could protect the world in ways they never could've imagined. Tony, heading to a party, leaves J.A.R.V.I.S. to continue work on the project, and when he does, the integration seems to be successful. No one is around when Ultron regains sentience, reviews the history of Earth, and takes over J.A.R.V.I.S. in the lab, destroying his defences.

Answer: India
In a dilapidated warehouse in Russia, Natasha Romanoff, codename Black Widow, is interrogated and beaten for information. Before this can progress to outright torture, a call is received and Coulson is on the other line. Romanoff beats her way out easily, clearly in control of the situation. She's tasked, first, with going to Calcutta, India to pick someone up.
That someone turns out to be Dr. Bruce Banner, who's in the city helping who he can in secret. S.H.I.E.L.D., as it turned out, never stopped tracking him, and it's time for him to help. She shows him the Tesseract and asks him to find it; it has a gamma signature that they can't trace, but that he's done research on. He goes willingly.
Fury, elsewhere, makes the decision to ask that they operate the 'Avengers Initiative' because a response team is required. War needs soldiers, he reasons. And that's why he revisits Captain America, who S.H.I.E.L.D. located and unthawed from the Arctic ice. He agrees to help because he knows what the Tesseract is capable of. Coulson takes the liberty of cleaning up Rogers' uniform.
In the river next to Manhattan, Tony finishes making Stark Tower completely self-sustaining and brushes off Coulson's repeated calls. It doesn't matter though; Coulson is already in Stark Tower and has information about the Tesseract. Stark argues that he was kicked out of the Avengers because of his tendencies, but once the information is opened up, Stark has no choice but to look into it.

The Avengers celebrate at a massive party in the HQ tower with their colleagues, mingling, telling jokes, and thinking about their futures with the initiative. After taking turns trying to lift Thor's hammer (all of them failing to do so), they're interrupted by one of Tony's Iron Legion suits as it stumbles from the hallway and announces its plan to eradicate. It unleashes the rest of the legion, now under its control, and absconds with Loki's sceptre while the Avengers are distracted. In Sokovia, Hydra's labs reawaken.
The trail goes cold as soon as the sceptre is taken, and the other Avengers are quick to blame Tony for everything that's occurred. He claims that he had to do something because of the otherworldly forces that have already attacked. Cap, however, believes that they can face their enemies together instead of with Ultron or something like it.
In Sokovia, the Maximoffs find Ultron inside a city church. Wanda, who asks if he came to save the world, realizes she can't read his mind because he is not human. Ultron suggests that he is there for exactly that reason. Taking the siblings back to the lab, he convinces them to assist him in fuelling his army. They agree, believing Tony Stark to be directly responsible for their parents' death by his weapons.

Answer: James Spader
James Spader provided the voice of the robot Ultron which Tony Stark was creating to save the world. Ultron's version of saving the world was to destroy it. James Spader was the first choice for the voice for Ultron. Joss Whedon believed that James had the kind of hypnotic voice that would work for both humor and fear. Joss Whedon wanted James Spader only for his voice, but James wanted to do more with the character than just the voice so during filming James Spader wore an antennae three feet above his head with red balls attached to it. The balls were the location of Ultron's eyes so the other actors would know how far to look up when delivering their lines to Ultron.
