Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Beaver's Restaurant

Answer: Tier 1

Beaver's Restaurant is a very small diner with a four car parking lot. If playing in Navezgane, it is located in the Desert biome. Since this is a Tier 1, it does not have a loot room with a chest in it. As such, it is mostly desirable for the novelty, but players looking for a quest worth their time are unlikely to venture into the Desert to do a measly Tier 1 quest.
2. The Knowbly Cabin

Answer: Tier 2

This is, at first glance, a plain and unassuming two story cabin with no distinguishing features. However, for those who have ever watched "Evil Dead", they will recognize that this is a clear call-out to that franchise. The Fun Pimps themselves have confirmed this. Inside a locked basement door, a Big Mama zombie with more health than the typical Big Mama can be found. This is meant to represent how Henrietta spent most of the first "Evil Dead" movie trying to break free of a locked cabin, and eventually went on to become a major antagonist in the franchise.

Plus, the 'Knowbly' Cabin is a clear call-out to the Knowby Cabin from the "Evil Dead" franchise.
3. Piggy Bank

Answer: Tier 3

The Piggy Bank is a small bank located in the Wasteland. Despite being a Tier 3, it has a massively disproportionate risk/reward that favors the player. Inside of it is a whopping eighteen total wall safes, three ATMs and a massive vault typically loaded with cash.

The interior is Tier 3 difficulty, so the zombies inside the bank will likely not put up much of a fight against a player who is reasonably geared to deal with the endgame Wasteland.
4. Butcher Pete's

Answer: Tier 4

As the title implies, this is a deli. It is a deli with one very unique, quirky mechanic: despite being Tier 4, if the player is accessing this building on Day 28 or later, regardless of their Gamerstage, it is possible to encounter one single Demolisher zombie here. Normally, Demolishers can only appear at Tier 6 Quests, and they normally can only appear if the player has a Gamerstage of 140 or higher. Butcher Pete's exclusively overrides both limitations. Is this implying that Butcher Pete himself became a Demolisher? The world may never know...

Butcher Pete's is located in the Snow biome of Navezgane.
5. Dishong Tower

Answer: Tier 5

A long, long time ago, when the very first ever iteration of "7 Days to Die" launched in 2011, this location was the absolute pinnacle of the game's difficulty way back then. Multiple console generations came and passed, but even with many others outclassing it in sheer difficulty, it stood tall, literally, as the single tallest building in the entire game.

Despite its difficulty reputation, the Dishong Tower has always been in the Desert biome. From a difficulty and novelty perspective, it is in a perfect place. Players first entering the Desert are likely to be right in line and have just the equipment to deal with, but not trivialize, a Tier 5 quest.

Unfortunately, over the years, the quality of loot within the Dishong Tower was repeatedly nerfed, likely due to it eventually being overtaken in difficulty and, thus, risk. In general, this is a better space for players who simply want the experience of going through such a massive structure. Players who are pure utilitarian and only want to visit places strictly worth their time objectively should not come here. There are smaller T5s which yield easier loot by far.
6. Navezgane Corrections

Answer: Tier 6

This is a massive prison area built to house north of 500 inmates. It's massive size makes the large difficulty label unsurprising. It is filled to the brim with Soldier and Cop zombies specifically, but can also possibly house other Elites such as Dire Wolves and Demolishers.

There are two Corrections facilities in Navezgane: one in the Snow, one in the Wasteland. Perfect locations for an end game area.
7. Buzz's Bar

Answer: Tier 1

This is a small, single story bar found in the Desert. Despite being Tier 1, this place is designed to exclusively house Biker zombies. Bikers ordinarily cannot appear unless the location is Tier 2 or higher, yet they are the only zombie type to be found at this Tier 1 location.

The 'challenge' of dealing with only Bikers is offset by the fact that this is the single tiniest Tier 1 in the entire game. If the player can deal with Bikers, they should be able to get in and out, searching the entire place, in about five minutes if they're slowly taking their time, and about thirty seconds if they're rushing.

That said, as it is located in the Desert, players would almost certainly scoff at the notion of Bikers being a genuine challenge by this point. The bar itself really isn't worth exploring other than maybe for the novelty of just checking the place out.
8. Oreally Auto Parts Store

Answer: Tier 2

The OReally Auto Parts store is located in the Desert biome. It does have a larger than usual parking lot that can potentially have randomly generated cars for the player to loot and take apart. Beyond that though, the interior usually has a vending machine and a few cash registers that can yield easy Duke's tokens.
9. Crack-a-Book

Answer: Tier 3

This is a bookstore. As players level up many, many skills in this game by reading magazines, a bookstore is going to naturally be incredibly appealing. There are many smaller, nameless bookstores across the entire game, but Crack-a-Book is the biggest and, predictably, most dangerous venture. It contains an astounding 32 separate book shelves. These are not all guaranteed to have books, and have a small drop rate of only having paper, but they have a high book drop rate in general and will usually produce multiple books per shelf.

Crack-a-Book can be found in the Pine Forest, conveniently. This is typically where players build their home bases, so Crack-a-Book usually ends up on most players' radars sometime in the early game.
10. Calm Inn

Answer: Tier 4

This is a modestly sized hotel with three lengthy stories and a large, wide open pool area. Notably, there is a massive drop chance for Beer at this location, which is a great boon for melee focused players.

There are three Calm Inns. One is in the Pine Forest, another in the Desert and the last in the Wasteland. There is no significant difference between the three.
11. Navezgane Athletics Complex

Answer: Tier 5

This is, in essence, a small football field with bleachers on both sides, akin to what you might see at a small collegiate or high school football game. It is fronted by a small building containing locker rooms for a home and visitor team, and also contains ticket booths and gates where fans presumably entered to take their seats.

It is located in the Burnt Forest biome in Navezgane. It is a Tier 5 in the Burnt Forest, so players who arrive at the Burnt Forest initially are likely not quite going to be ready to tackle it just yet. It could prove an intriguing lure that prompts players to 'bookmark' it as a place to return to later.
12. Navezgane General Hospital

Answer: Tier 6

The second largest building in the entire game, second only to the Dishong Tower, this is a doozy of a place to visit. Those lacking the Parkour perk will have to deal with the claustrophobia entailed within inescapable choke points filled with end game level zombies. Not only that, but because the vast majority of this building is made of iron and concrete, shooting a gun inside this building generates extra Heat. Since shooting at some point is basically mandatory, the player is likely to be beset upon by several Screamers while they venture through this area.

Despite its difficult reputation, this place is located in the beginner area Pine Forest. Players starting a new character definitely should not come here!
13. Fats Food

Answer: Tier 1

Fats Food is the subject of somewhat of an inside joke by the community. The restaurant clearly resembles a Whataburger restaurant, which is a real world corporate fast food chain largely situated in the south US that is generally beloved. And where is The Fun Pimps situated in? You guessed it, Texas!

Despite appearing to comment publicly on many, many things, even direct inspirations such as the Knowbly Cabin, TFP has not commented on Fats Foods intending to represent Whataburger, maybe due to some kind of legal issue in doing so.

Either way, this location is in the Desert. Again, the south of the US tends to have very hot, above average temperatures, and this totally not-Whataburger just so happens to be in the Desert. Coincidence, right? As a Tier 1, it is purely notable for the novelty, and is not worth accessing other than for said novelty.
14. Pink Penny's

Answer: Tier 2

This is an interesting POI for the history it has in this game. It was previously known as Bigg Buns, and was a strip club with very graphic, exclusive zombies that looked about the way you might expect zombified strippers would look. This was eventually changed into Pink Penny's and the exclusive zombies were removed from the game entirely. Pink Penny's is an adult night club, but the graphic content from its spiritual predecessor is essentially entirely gone.

It is located inside the Wasteland of Navezgane. As it has no remarkable loot to speak of, coming all the way to the end game area just to access a Tier 2 is typically a monumental waste of time.
15. Navezgane High School

Answer: Tier 3

This large building has a massive parking lot that typically houses several, if not dozens of vehicles for the player to loot and take apart. The interior has an expansive library with lots of book shelves, but otherwise is rather tame on the loot side. It usually has two vending machines.

This building is located in Pine Forest. It will absolutely be overwhelming to players on a fresh new character, but in and of itself makes for a compelling place to come back later when the character is a bit more developed.
16. Navezgane Courthouse

Answer: Tier 4

This is a modest sized building made entirely of concrete, making it difficult for the player to 'cheese' entry by way of breaking down the wall. It is a bit light on loot, but also does not house too many zombies. For players seeking just to do quests to progress their rank with traders, this place is ideal. For players looking for the best loot the game has to offer, they should search elsewhere.

There is one Courthouse in every biome in this game.
17. Higashi Pharmaceutical

Answer: Tier 5

This is a skyscraper which, as per the name, is owned by the mysterious doctor/scientist Karen Higashi. Higashi has no direct appearance in the game and is only scarcely mentioned in lore; nothing much is actually known about her, other than that she must have been fairly well off to own an entire skyscraper in her name.

Like the Dishong Tower, this building was once heralded for its difficulty. It has fallen off a bit over the years, but it at least has not suffered any sort of random loot nerfings like the former once did.

Unfortunately for the player, there are actually active land mines inside this building. The mere floor being walked on itself is not necessarily safe.

In return however, the loot here is incredible. There are four vending machines, two separate 'loot rooms' and loads upon loads of medical and chemistry station related materials.

This building is located in the Desert biome.
18. Champion's Coliseum

Answer: Tier 6

This massive, beast of a football stadium is a real doozy to go through. Even for those with end game builds, it is likely to take over a full day of in-gameplay, translating to an hour of real life time, to go through this entire place. It is as deadly as it is massive, featuring an almost certain encounter with Cops, Demolishers, Dire Wolves, Infernal, Charged and Irradiated zombies, and much more.

The Champion's Coliseum is fitfully located in the Wasteland.
19. Amigone Funeral Home

Answer: Tier 1

Amigone or, Am-I-Gone, is unique for having two locations: one in the Pine Forest and another in the Desert. From a gameplay perspective, being a T1, the one in the Desert is rather pointless. But the one in Pine Forest is situated well, as a beginner level area in the beginning biome of the game.
20. Canyon Gift Shop

Answer: Tier 2

The Canyon Gift Shop is located inside the Desert, the place where you would logically expect there to be a canyon. For a Tier 2, it is noteworthy for being quite large and housing four separate vending machines. Conversely, it is a Tier 2 that, despite its large size, bafflingly lacks a loot room with a treasure chest in it.

It is a fun building to explore but, given that is is an early game area in the Desert, players who don't care for the novelty will generally skip this one. Apart from briefly accessing the vending machines.
21. Pass-N-Gas Store

Answer: Tier 3

The Gas Store is fantastic for being a tiny location with decent loot. Being only Tier 3, the player can clear it out almost immediately if they're even remotely well equipped for it. The only slightly frustrating thing is the RNG involved with the gas pumps found here. If the gas pumps are in good shape, the player can search them for fuel and then take them apart to receive Forged Steel and more fuel. If the gas pumps are not in good shape, the player can't do any of that.

The spawning logic behind Pass-N-Gas stores is a little quirky. There are six throughout the entire game, but they can appear anywhere in all of Navezgane, with the only 'rule' being that they cannot spawn too closely to one another.
22. Bob's Boars & Carl's Corn

Answer: Tier 4

This location is primarily and famously known for housing the Legendary Enemy Grace. Despite the title, Grace is stupidly easy to kill and guarantees a drop of a single Legendary Red Bag, loaded with end game loot designed to be well beyond the level the player is at. Players can justifiably come to this location just to kill and loot Grace when she respawns, then leaving.

However, there is a little more to this area than just Grace. The 'Carl's Corn' aspect can come in quite handy, as there is a metric ton of corn and cornmeal to be found here. As well, Grace is not the only one of 'Bob's Boars', as there are several hogs inside the main building which can give a lot of Raw Meat.

This area is located in the Pine Forest.
23. Grover High School

Answer: Tier 5

Despite being a fair bit smaller than Navezgane High School, Grover High School is far, far more dangerous. It's small size and high difficulty makes it a great place to loot for those that have strong enough characters.

The main reason for the difficulty rating stems from when the player enters the gymnasium, then later takes to the roof. Both places are absolutely swarming to the brim with powerful, high level undead that will ferally charge the player the moment they make their presence known. These two locations alone practically mandate end game gear to be able to handle.

There are two Grover High Schools. One is in the Pine Forest, and the other is in the Burnt Forest.
24. Shotgun Messiah Factory

Answer: Tier 6

This is the single best place in the game, hands down, for players who want to loot ammunition and parts to construct guns with. Of course, it is a Tier 6, so it also boasts the deadliest enemies the game has to offer. Nothing ventured, nothing gained...

This factory is located in the Desert.
