Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In which Layer are we able to locate a T. Rex?

Answer: Freezer Layer

The T. Rex appears as a Fossil, but we can find it, no less, in the Freezer Layer, specifically atop the plateau on Cold-Colt Crest Hill, buried under some of the snowfall that's accumulated in the canyons there. It's a massive Fossil, not unlike the Whale and Triceratops to come before it in the Lagoon and Canyon Layers, and collecting it will allow us to buy the rarest Dig-It Neckerchief from the Style Shop.
2. We can only pay off the Securitones in what location?

Answer: Forbidden Layer

The penultimate Layer before we finally get to the Planet Core, the Forbidden Layer proves to be a test of all of the know-how thus far in the game as we'll need to traverse massive, ornate structures made of concrete and Neptunium and vast expanses of next-to-nothing to get to the Banandium Root (or what seems to be the Banandium Root) in pursuit of Void King.

The catch is that crossing these massive chasms can only be done by paying off large Fractones called Securitones which will only allow us to use Passage Stone, creating paths across them, for a nominal fee.

The fee rises the further along we go, and by the end, we may have given nearly 20,000 gold to their racket.
3. Where in the planet do we have to be if we can ride a 'Feral Wheel'?

Answer: Feast Layer

One of the later Layers of the adventure, the Feast Layer can be found on Sublayer 1400, and the Feral Wheel is one of the most noticeable parts of it, rising up into the sky and spinning smack-dab in the middle of the Layer. Although on the surface the Layer appears to be a massive amusement park, it's also a factory responsible for providing the planet with food, so DK and Pauline will have a unique time riding food-themed rides, handling salt, and avoiding dipping themselves into hot fryer oil. DK is best-suited to riding the Feral Wheel when he's finished constructing a Banana Burger in Fried Pride Plaza.
4. Where are we if we're meeting our first Elder?

Answer: Lagoon Layer

There are five different Elders throughout the game for us to encounter and that starts with the Kong Elder who sits near Salvager's Landing in Sublayer 101, the second Sublayer in Lagoon Layer. Here, we'll will be able to free Pauline from the Odd Rock while also learning how to use the Kong Bananza.

It's not the only Bananza though-- the Zebra Bananza is in the Freezer Layer, the Ostrich Bananza is in the Forest Layer, the Ostrich Bananza is in the Tempest Layer, and the Snake Bananza is in the Radiance Layer.
5. Where do we smash the giant watermelon block?

Answer: Resort Layer

Resort Layer is littered with giant fruit blocks, most of which have switches on top of them to allow for ease of destruction (if we don't want to just punch through them). The major landmark of this Layer is a massive watermelon block sitting atop a rock pedestal in the middle of the water, and once we get to the top by ascending a series of floating islands, we'll be able to sink into the fruit, destroy a Terravoider, and destroy the watermelon.

It might not be ideal for locals who look upon the thing, but we will leave behind a memorial for the loss on the way out.
6. Where would we be riding a mine cart in circles around the Mad Mixer?

Answer: Canyon Layer

The second of three different bosses in the Canyon Layer, the Mad Mixer sits in the middle of the Banandium Refinery accumulating precious, precious minerals for the Void Company, destroying Longneck Plateau's economy in the process. We can defeat it and help the locals though, and all it takes is careful aim with a series of Boom Rocks, hurled a fair distance from over the side of a moving mine cart as it careens around the boss.

Mad Mixer returns as Mad Mixer Remix in the Feast Layer.
7. In which Layer would be be on Sublayer 903?

Answer: Tempest Layer

The Tempest layer, appearing directly after the Resort Layer, is sandwiched in the 900-series Sublayers spanning Sublayers 900, 901, 902, and 903 before dropping into a Sinkhole. Here, we'll encounter a region in the midst of an inclement weather event, and making things worse, there's a lot of lava found throughout the dense caves that create the shape of the area.

The region is populated by elephants, so once we get the Bananza bestowed upon us, we can inhale the dangerous terrain altogether in pursuit of the Sinister Blusterwing, a resilient foe that heads into battle three times along the way.
8. In which location are we if we're encountering Void?

Answer: The Junction

The Divide sees a different substance altogether. Found at Sublayer 400, this location features Switcheroo Goo, which we can use to create paths (through punching, obviously) that can grant access to one of two branching paths bound for the Freezer Layer or the Forest Layer below.

The Junction comes after both of these and, upon arriving, it'll become apparent that we have a Void problem to deal with it. To clear the Terravoiders here, we need to finish the quests in both the Freezer and Forest Layers in full, retracing our steps to do so.
9. Where will we find towns populated by snakes?

Answer: Radiance Layer

Radiance Layer spans the 1200s in terms of Sublayers and it's the last major location in which we can collect a Bananza form, this time transforming us into a big snake (with arms, if that's not unnerving enough). The Snake Elder rests on his DJ throne on Sublayer 1201 but his snake citizens populate three separate Sublayers, acting as helpful hint-givers and shopkeepers throughout the many settlements encountered here. Radiance Layer otherwise consists of caves and deserts, and the snakes share the area with scorpion and spider foes, as is fitting.
10. Where would we be checking into the Eggshell Hotel?

Answer: Forest Layer

The key landmark of the Forest Layer, the Eggshell Hotel is the home of the Ostrich Elder, who also happened to be its general manager for quite some time. Here, after scaling the forest's trees, dodging massive thorny brambles, and avoiding a dip in the poison waters around the region, we can learn how to float around using the Ostrich Bananza and, float onward to the lower Sublayers of the Forest Layer.

The structure appears as a giant, golden egg and contains a pool and a well-tended garden, amongst other amenities.
