Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Feast Layer, as is discovered, is both an amusement park and which of these?

Answer: Factory

By this point, you likely know the drill. Landing in a new Layer, the goal will be to get deeper and deeper until you reach the Planet Core (maybe? Eventually?). But dropping down into what appears to be an amusement park in the Feast Layer, you'll be invited along for what's regarded as the 'factory tour'. Once you gain entry into the Fried Pride Factory, you'll have to kick things into proper shape and help make a massive Banana Burger to figure out the path forward.

But in the meantime, maybe you can have some fun!
2. Throughout the Feast Layer, DK will come across a harmful green substance known only by what four-letter name?

Answer: Muck

It will become quickly apparent that the Feast Layer needs a bit of quality control before anything there can actually be eaten and enjoyed. To start, atop the ground DK will find a ton of salt, and that makes a great deal of sense since most of the contents of the realm are salty snacks that would take advantage of such a substance.

The problem, however, is that there is also a toxic, green ooze, also known as 'muck', which will cause damage to DK if it's touched and can not be destroyed by normal means.

The only way to rid the area of muck is by tossing salt at it, naturally.
3. How many Burger Switches need to be struck to pass through Sublayer 1400?

Answer: Five

One DK arrives in Fried Pride Plaza, the mission will become quite clear: he'll need to restore the Layer to its functional self by hitting five different Burger Switches, all found in mostly-inconvenient spots all throughout Sublayer 1400. The fortunate thing is that one of these switches is right at the spot where the Banana Burger will be plopped down, so really it's just a matter of hitting up every other major zone of the park to find the rest. Doing so will create an extremely tall structure and the way down to the next Sublayer-- because of course it does.
4. Which of these locations is NOT found on Sublayer 1400 and doesn't exist?

Answer: Toaster Coaster

The Feast Layer is a big layer and it's split into different and distinct zones that correspond to the attractions you'll find there. The Royal Oil Cruise functions as both a boat ride and a way to power the factory above, and it's at the lowest part of the Layer; the Grater-Go-Round is a Zebra Bananza-specific area; the Kingly Swings is perhaps best finished by the Ostrich Bananza. Most of these are accessible by a mine cart track that loops around the Sublayer 1400.
5. At the Ferocious Fryhouse, DK will face off, once again, against which boss?

Answer: Mad Mixer

The Ferocious Fryhouse is the furthest-along of the regions of the Feast Layer, at the end of a winding trail clockwise through the park and in the midst of a spooky graveyard setting. Here, in a massive arena, DK will face off against the Mad Mixer, last seen in the Canyon Layer, only his upgrades will make him the Mad Mixer Remix. In this fight, similar to the first, you need to lob Bomb Rocks at the boss, but in the midst of this you'll also need to toss salt bombs at the muck surrounding him, otherwise you'll have a tougher time finding an opening.

Defeating Mad Mixer Remix will raise a fry oil platform and the final Burger Switch, provoking Void King into action.
6. The key to the Void Stake atop the Banana Burger can be found on which attraction?

Answer: The Feral Wheel

Once DK finishes building the Banana Burger, Void Kong will be vocal about his rage, firing everyone in Void Co. and blocking off the route downwards with a Void Stake. To get inside, DK needs to collect the key waiting at the top of the Layer's most obvious landmark, the massive Feral Wheel spinning in its center, where the locals inspect all of the region's food to ensure it's ready for shipping. Getting the key grants passage down into Sublayer 1401.
7. The largest of the Fossils in the Feast Layer is which of these?

Answer: Robot

Found on the back side of the Feral Wheel, the way to collect this massive Fossil is by tossing salt from a good-enough and high-enough vantage point to loosen it from the surface it's been pinned to. The Fossil itself looks an awful lot like KAOS, a boss featured in "Donkey Kong Country 3" for the SNES.

Otherwise, DK can find ten mid-level Fossils, the Cathode-Ray Tubes (which are essentially fossilized televisions), and sixty-one fossilized Tires, all of which can be spent on upgrades at the StyleTone shops.
8. Which of these locations is NOT on Sublayer 1401?

Answer: Shipping Warehouse

Heading down through the Void Stake's passage in the Banana Burger (fun sentence to sound out), DK will land in Sublayer 1401, a short-and-sweet area that takes him through the factory underbelly through a series of iron-clad chambers that lead to a processing centre for the Feast Layer's precious commodities. Down here is just as messy as the surface, only instead of tons of muck (of which there is some), many of the corridors contain melty cheese, which is a bit of a nightmare to wade through. Fortunately, it can be destroyed without much effort.
9. The Muckoids on Sublayer 1401 shoot projectiles that can, evidently, melt through which substance?

Answer: Iron

Knowing this is the key to unlocking a number of Banandium Gems and hidden fossils in the corridors that lead to the Feast Layer's final fight as, without their high-heat projectiles, there won't be a way to pass through the otherwise tightly-welded passages.

This gets more complicated when DK passes into the Waste-Oil Container since, high above the fryer oil below, these creatures, nestled into their muck, will wear away at DK's only safe passageway. They're, fortunately, good practice for the last fight of the area.
10. Muckety-Muck, the final boss of the Feast Layer, can be defeated if exposed and beaten down how many times?

Answer: Three

When you drop into the Feast Layer's Loading Bay you'll find one more Void Co. Mind-Bender Mask, this one being used by a Muckoid. It'll grow in size, taking more and more muck to become a formidable foe capable of spreading itself out, leaping across the arena, and creating smaller Muckoids. DK needs to toss salt at the boss as it gets exposed, allowing him to head over and knock the mask around. Doing this three times will bring the boss' health down enough to defeat it and create the Sinkhole to the next Layer.
