10. What's the common bond?

Answer: Keeping Up Appearances

"Keeping Up Appearances" is a classic British Sitcom about Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) and her family. Q1 -- Onslow is Hyacinth's brother-in-law. He is a constant source of embarassment to Hyacinth with his loud car and refusal to wear shirt sleeves. Q2 -- Sheridan is Hyacinth's son who we never see. Everyone knows Sheridan is gay except for Hyacinth. Q3 -- Hyacinth always pronounces her last name as "Bouquet". Bucket sounds much too lower class. Q4 -- Hyacinth is our main character, of course. Q5 -- Clive Swift is the actor who portrays Hyacinth's long suffering husband Richard. Q6 -- Emmet is Hyacinth's next door neighbor.

He always tries to avoid Hyacinth so she won't "sing at" him. Q7 -- Rose is one of Hyacinth's sisters.

She lives with Onslow and Daisy. Q8 -- Roy Clarke is the creator of "Keeping Up Appearances". Q9 -- Daisy is another of Hyacinth's sisters. She loves romance novels and her husband Onslow. The other sister is Violet. Violet is married to Bruce the cross-dressing turf accountant.
