The mercenary had stolen a computer hard drive from a laptop, and on it was a detailed list of NATO agents. Bond and his superiors were very keen to reclaim the hard drive due to the security risk it posed to the identity of agents throughout the world.

This was Daniel Craig's third outing as the famous spy, James Bond, and as with all the other "Bond" films, it started off with an explosive chase. At the beginning, we saw an action packed scene on a train that led us to believe that Bond had been killed, as later in the film we saw M type out his obituary on her laptop which read "A senior officer of the Ministry of Defence, Commander James Bond C.M.G., R.N. is missing, believed killed, while on an official mission to Turkey".

The scene was actually shot at the Varda Viaduct in southern Turkey.

Answer: Moneypenny

Eve had both Bond and the mercenary in her crossfire, but accidently shot Bond, causing him to plummet off the train into a steep ravine below, presumed dead. It was only at the end of the film that she fully introduced herself as Eve Moneypenny, a field agent who was to become the secretary to M. Eve was played by British actress, Naomie Harris, known for her role as Tia Dalma in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" (2006) and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" (2007).

Answer: MI6 Headquarters

Somebody had hacked into the computer system at the MI6 headquarters, causing an explosion which killed several employees. Bond, who had recovered from his earlier injuries, returned back to London, only to find the new MI6 headquarters were at a secret location underground. Shrapnel was recovered from his shoulder which identified the location of the mercenary in China. Armed with new gadgets supplied by Q, Bond travelled to Shanghai.

Answer: Severine

A "James Bond" film would not be the same without a bevy of Bond girls, and in "Skyfall", one of these was a glamorous woman called Severine. Played by French actress Bérénice Lim Marlohe, Severine warned Bond that her boss wanted him killed. After a fight with some Komodo Dragons, Bond was captured along with Severine by the main antagonist of the film. This was Bérénice Lim Marlohe's first foray into film work as she has only been noted for small roles in French television.

Answer: Raoul Silva

Blond haired Raoul Silva was played by Spanish actor, Javier Bardem. Already a respected actor, Bardem won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 2007 film, "No Country for Old Men". His role as former MI6 agent turned sadistic terrorist, Raoul Silva, was seeking revenge against M who had left him for dead in enemy hands during a previous assignment.

Skyfall was the name of the childhood home of James Bond. It was here that he took M to hide away from Raoul Silva, and with the assistance of the gamekeeper Kincade, they were able to set a trap using homemade explosives. With a back drop of heather covered moors, the old house was assaulted by helicopter, with explosions lighting up the night sky.

Answer: Knife

M was seriously wounded in the attack against Skyfall. The gamekeeper took her by underground tunnel to a nearby chapel on the estate, and it was here that Raoul Silva tracked her down. Bond was close behind when he threw a knife at Raoul which landed in his back. This led to his eventual death. M died from her wounds in the arms of James Bond.

Answer: Ralph Fiennes

Ralph Fiennes played Gareth Mallory in the film. His role was that of Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee who reported directly to the Prime Minister. Upon the death of Judi Dench in her character role, he took over M as head of MI6. Fiennes was already a well known and loved British actor, for starring in "Schindler's List" (1993), "The English Patient" (1996) and as Lord Voldemort in the "Harry Potter" franchise.

Answer: Sam Mendes

English born Sam Mendes was already known for directing famous films such as "Road to Perdition" (2002) and "Revolutionary Road" (2008). His directional debut on film was "American Beauty" (1999) and this won an Academy Award for Best Picture. When Sam Mendes was given the role as director of "Skyfall", he was quoted as saying "I wanted to have a huge challenge and there was no question, they don't come much bigger than Bond in terms of scale and expectation". The premiere of "Skyfall" was at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 23 October 2012.

Answer: Adele

Written by British singer Adele and producer Paul Epworth, "Skyfall" reached number two of the UK Singles Chart. Adele was already a popular singer/songwriter with her first two albums, "19" and "21", reaching number one in the UK album chart in 2008 and 2011 respectively. Her song "Someone Like You" was a massive success, reaching number one in the UK, USA and Australian singles chart.
