3. Which song has the line: "Holes are in your skin, caused by deadly pin"?

Answer: Hand of Doom

"Hand of Doom" is about heroin addiction and the suffering of heroin-addicted people. It's the sixth song on Black Sabbath's most famous album, "Paranoid".
4. Continue the lyrics: 'I am wicked, I am legion'...

Answer: Strength in numbers, a lie, the number is one

These lyrics are from the brilliant song, "I", off of their third and last album with vocalist Ronnie James Dio, "Dehumanizer". The song is from the point of view of a metal musician being criticized for his music. Instead of being saddened by the criticism, he is fueled by it.
5. Continue the lyrics of my favourite Sabbath song: "Just take a look around you, what do you see..."

Answer: Pain, suffering and misery

These amazing lyrics are from the song "Killing Yourself to Live", off of their fifth studio album, "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". The song is about how crazy the music industry is, and at some point, it also talks about how bad the world is.
6. Who sang the lyrics (originally): "Onward all you crystal soldiers, touch tomorrow, energize"?

Answer: Ronnie James Dio

These lyrics are from the album opener of "Dehumanizer", "Computer God". "Dehumanizer" was the third and last album with Ronnie James Dio on vocals. The song is about technology becoming more powerful than man and destroying him.

In the liner notes to the 2003 compilation "Stand Up And And Shout: The Anthology", Ronnie James Dio had this to say:
"The song, and the entire Dehumanizer (1992) project, represents the influence science fiction has had on me as an artist. Technology has removed humanity from the human being. And when the day comes when we're completely tapped as a race, God will be a computer. Great writers like Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke inspired his song."
7. Who has NEVER sung this line with Black Sabbath (in live performance): "All day long I think of things, but nothing seems to satisfy"?

Answer: Cozy Powell

The lyrics are from Black Sabbath's most famous song, "Paranoid". It was played in almost every live performance.

Although Rob Halford has never been in Black Sabbath officially, he had to replace Ozzy Osbourne once, so he sang it once.

Ian Gillan was in Black Sabbath from 1983 to 1984. He also sang it a couple of times in concert on their Born Again tour.

Ray Gillen was in Black Sabbath in 1987, but he died of HIV before they could record an album (his replacement was Tony Martin), but he sang "Paranoid" once.

Cozy Powell was the drummer of Black Sabbath in the late 80s and early 90s. Obviously, he wasn't a singer, so he couldn't sing it. He died in 1998 in a car accident.
8. Which song's alternative lyrics are this: "People say my mind's all filled with things"?

Answer: Paranoid

These lyrics are from an early version of "Paranoid". The lyrics are completely different in this version, the official version talks about depression, this one only talks about a bad relationship. And the guitar solo is also different.

"Paranoid" is arguably, Black Sabbath's most well-known song. It was released in Black Sabbath's second studio album, "Paranoid".

The alternate lyrics version was released in the 50th anniversary super-deluxe edition of "Paranoid", but you can also find it on the internet video hosting programs. The alternate lyrics were written by Ozzy Osbourne, but after recording the song, they changed the lyrics to the final version.
9. Which album features the lyrics: 'Man of madness, who lives in my head'?

10. What does Ozzy want to do with "the world with winter flowers" in the popular song "Snowblind"?

Answer: He wants to kiss it

"Kiss the world with winter flowers, turn my days to frozen hours".

"Snowblind is about being addicted to cocaine: "Feeling happy in my pain, icicles within my brain- cocaine". It's on Black Sabbath's fourth studio album, Vol.4. These amazingly beautiful lyrics were written by the band's lyricist and bassist, Geezer Butler.
11. Which line is in the song "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"?

Answer: No more tomorrows, life is killing you

"Where can you run to? What more can you do? No more tomorrows, life is killing you"

This amazing song is the first track on Black Sabbath's fifth studio album, "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath".

According to bassist Geezer Butler, the song is about the "Sabbath experience". The ups and downs, the good times and bad times, the rip-offs, the business side of it all. It was a backs-to-the-wall rant at everyone who tried to cash in on Black Sabbath.
12. Which song has the line: 'Where all witches meet, on the night such as this'?

Answer: Headless Cross

"Headless Cross" is the second song on Black Sabbath's second album (with Tony Martin on vocals), "Headless Cross". This song is based on a Middle Ages myth. While the plague was going through Europe, some people from a small village in England called Headless-Cross went to the hills to pray to God for help. None of them survived.
13. Fill the gap: "Behind the lies you will see ...."

Answer: The Master of Insanity

This line is obviously from the song "Master of Insanity". It's another track from "Dehumanizer". It was released in 1992 in the UK. The song is about the madman within us all, the fact that everybody has an evil side, but most people act like we don't.
14. Fill the gap: "He feels so bitter, yes, he's so full of hate, to die in the gutter, I guess that's ______ fate.

Answer: Johnny's

These lyrics are from the song "Johnny Blade" off of the last studio album with Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, "Never Say Die!" It's the second song on the album and one of the first Sabbath tracks to include synthesizers. It's about a knife-wielding maniac who lives in the streets. According to Geezer Butler, the song was inspired by Bill Ward's brother, who was in a violent gang as a teenager.
15. Here's a tough one to finish the quiz. The following lyrics are from songs which's title features the word 'sabbath', but one of them is NOT a Black Sabbath song. Which lyrics are from that song?

Answer: Witches and demons are coming

"The time of dream has turned, the night is gone and light shines on" is from the song called "The Sabbath Stones". It was released in 1990, on Sabbath's fifteenth studio album, "TYR".

"God knows as your dog nose, bog, blast all of you" is one of the last lines of the song "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". It was released in 1973, on Black Sabbath's fifth album with the same title.

People running 'cause they're scared, people better go and beware" is also one of the last lines of another Sabbath song, "Black Sabbath". That song was the first song that Black Sabbath has written.

Witches and demons are coming, just follow the magic call" is from a song titled "Come to the Sabbath". It was released by Mercyful Fate on their second album, "Don't Break the Oath" in 1984. The lyrics were written by the Danish singer, King Diamond.
