Answer: A car horn

'Runnin' With the Devil' was the first song on Van Halen's self-titled debut CD, released in 1978. The group got the horns from their cars and brought them into the studio for sound effects. The CD also included the instrumental 'Eruption', as well as other hits like 'Jamie's Cryin', 'Ice Cream Man', 'Ain't Talking About Love' and the Kinks cover 'You Really Got Me'.
2. Which song includes these lyrics: "I've been to the edge, there I stood and looked down. You know I lost a lot of friends there baby, got no time to mess around"?

Answer: Ain't Talking About Love

'Ain't Talking about Love' was from Van Halen's debut self-titled CD. guitarist Eddie Van Halen used an electric sitar to give a song a more Eastern style feel. Sammy Hagar, who replaced David Lee Roth as lead singer in 1985, said this one of the only Roth songs he was willing to sing live.
3. "Ooh, baby, baby, won't you take my love away" was from which of these songs?

Answer: Dance the Night Away

4. Which of these songs is about the trials and tribulations of Junior?

Answer: And the Cradle Will Rock

'And The Cradle will Rock' was from Van Halen's third CD 'Women and Children First', released in 1980. This was the first song to feature Eddie Van Halen on keyboards, although bassist Marc Anthony would take over during the band's tours.
5. Complete this lyric: "Everybody Wants Some__________".

Answer: Both of these

6. "Non-stop talker, what a rocker!" was from which of these songs?

Answer: Unchained

'Unchained' was from Van Halen's 1981 CD 'Fair Warning'. It was one of the most requested songs on FM radio in the 1980s. Producer Ted Templemen made his only vocal appearance when he said 'come on Dave, gimme a break' when he felt David Lee Roth was getting obnoxious with his vocals.
7. Which of these covers from "Diver Down" was originally by Roy Orbison?

8. According to Van Halen's first number 1 hit, you might as well and go ahead do what?

Answer: Jump!

'Jump' was from Van Halen's 1984 CD. this song was rumored to have led to David Lee Roth leaving the group. Eddie Van Halen wrote the song a few years earlier but Roth tried everything to keep it from getting released. He wanted the group to focus mainly on their hard rock roots and avoid using keyboards and synthesizers to create a pop sound. Ironically, this was the band's biggest hit up to that time.
9. Which lyric was the first in the song 'Panama'?

Answer: Jump in, what's that sound

'Panama' was from the '1984' CD. The song was written about a car. After Roth's claim that critics attacked the group for writing extensively about sex and partying, this was done to confuse them.
10. "I think of all the education that I missed, but then my homework was never quite like this" was from which of these songs?

Answer: Hot For Teacher

'Hot For Teacher' was the last video from the 1984 CD. The video came under attack from the PMRC (Parents Music Resource Center) and it was suggested it be banned from MTV because of its sexual content. In 2009, the song was voted the 36th best hard rock song of all time on VH-1.
