"No Aphrodisiac" was the Number 1 song in the Triple J Hottest 100 in 1997 - a listener-rated poll played on Triple J usually played on Triple J on Australia Day each year.

The Whitlams first formed in 1992. The band originally comprised of Tim Freedman, Andy Lewis and Stevie Plunder.

Answer: Melbourne

"Melbourne" was released on 27 January 1997, and debuted on the Aria Top 100 Charts at number 70.

Founding member, Stevie Plunder, was found dead on Australia Day 1996 from an apparant suicide.
