Morgan got his break competing on TV's "The Voice". Morgan made it a few rounds in but didn't win, but his 2019 double album, "Dangerous" became the biggest selling country album of the year. "More Than My Hometown" topped the chart on Nov 28th, 2020.
2. Homesick

The Hot Country Music Playlist in March 2020 was feeling a little homesick. Back to back number one hit songs by Kane Brown ("Homesick") and Jake Owen ("Homegrown) kept similar themes in the spring.
3. Nobody But You

Answer: Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani

If you would have guessed back in the 90s that Ska/Pop singer Gwen Stefani would have a number one country song, you wouldn't believe it. But teaming up with her fiancee at the time, Blake Shelton, their duet topped the charts for two weeks in early May 2020.
4. Does To Me

Answer: Luke Combs and Eric Church

When you combine two of country music biggest superstars, you know you've got a major hit on the way. Luke Combs had three number ones that year including "Even Though You're Leaving" and "Loving On You".
5. Hard To Forget

Answer: Sam Hunt

Sam Hunt started off playing college football but his dreams were diverted to country music. Sam's big break was writing "Come Over", a smash hit for country music superstar Kenny Chesney. Following his songwriting success, Sam built his own solo career with multiple Top Ten singles including "Take Your Time" and "Body Like A Back Road".

The TV show, "American Idol", is most famous for adding Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson to the country and pop scene. But Scottie McCreery won the tenth season of the show in 2011 and has continued with a very successful career in country music.
7. Slow Dance In A Parking Lot

Answer: Jordan Davis

One of the biggest rising male singers in 2020, Jordan Davis earned his second number one with "Slow Dance In A Parking Lot". His debut single "Singles You Up" in 2017 also went straight to the top of the charts.
8. 10,000 Hours

Answer: Dan + Shay with Justin Bieber

Talk about a crossover hit, in late January of 2020, pop singer Justin Bieber joined the duo of Dan + Shay to rule the charts with "10000 Hours". The song debuted at number four and came out just days after Justin's marriage to model Hailey Baldwin.
9. Bluebird

Answer: Miranda Lambert

Written just days after her wedding to Brendan McLoughlin, "Bluebird" is a hopeful song about when times are tough, you can always find signs of something to believe in to make life better. It was a slow burn single. Released in December of 2019, it took until the summer of 2020 to top the charts.
10. Got What I Got

Answer: Jason Aldean

Jason dedicated this smash to his new wife. The lyrics look back on what Jason's life used to be like and how he's even happier with the life he has today. Aldean's wife thought the song had a little hip hop feel to it and called it her favorite song on his 2020 album.
