Henry Moore (1898-1986) was a British artist. He created large, abstract bronze sculptures. His famous piece, "Reclining Figure 1969-1970", is located in front of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art in Israel. Some of his creations have been criticized and/or vandalized.

Dudley Moore (1935-2002) was a British actor, comedian and composer. He appeared opposite Bo Derek in "10" (1979) and played the title role in the 1981 film "Arthur".

Reverend Jesse Jackson was born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1941. He is a Baptist minister and staunch civil rights activist. Jackson was also a candidate for the Democratic presidential nominations of 1984 and 1988.

Mahalia Jackson (1911-1972), a contralto gospel singer, often called "The Queen of Gospel", was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and lived in a shack with twelve others. She started singing at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church as a preteen, and ended up singing at the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 1963 (the "March on Washington").

She was billed as an actress and a model, but her main claim to fame seems to have been her 1994 marriage to billionaire J. Howard Marshall. Born in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1968, Will Smith has become one of the most powerful actors in Hollywood. He started out as a rapper and a TV star in "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" from 1990 to 1996. While he was "Gettin' Jiggy wit It" (1997), he was also been in major films like "Independence Day" (1996).

Supermodel and actress Beverly Johnson was born in Buffalo, New York in 1952. In August 1974 she became the first African American model to appear on the cover of "Vogue Magazine". She was also on the TV show "Beverly's Full House" in 2012.

Actress Lynda Carter was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1952. She is, perhaps, best known for her role as TV's "Wonder Woman" (and her alter ego, Diana Prince), from 1975 to 1979. Additionally, she won the title of Miss World America in the 1972 beauty pageant.

James Earl "Jimmy" Carter was born in Plains, Georgia in 1924. He served as the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981. He has continued to be a spokesperson on political issues and an indomitable worker for Habitat for Humanity.

Diplomat, writer, archaeologist and military officer, Thomas Edward "T.E." Lawrence (1888-1935), was the author of the 1922 book "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom". He is also the subject of the David Lean's 1962 historical film "Lawrence of Arabia".

Controversial British novelist, David Herbert "D.H." Lawrence (1885-1930), was one of the most persuasive writers of the 20th century. In 1928, he wrote the sexually explicit "Lady Chatterley's Lover" which was banned in the United States until 1959 and was the subject of a famous trial in England in 1960. Among his other works are "Women in Love" and "Sons and Lovers".

Singer, model and actress, Grace Jones was born in Jamaica in 1948. She and her siblings moved to Syracuse, New York in 1961. With her unusual look, her modeling career took off. In the late 1970s, Grace got a record deal and became a star of the disco scene. In 1985, she appeared in the Bond film "A View to a Kill".

Actress January Jones was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1978. She has appeared in films such as "American Wedding" (2003) and "X-Men: First Class" in 2011). January played Betty Draper on "Mad Men" from 2007 through 2015.

He was selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft, and was back-up quarterback for Brett Favre. Rodgers led the Packers to a victory in Super Bowl XLV in 2011.

Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx was born Eric Bishop in Terrell, Texas in 1967. Jamie became a household name when he became a member of the skit show "In Living Color" from 1991 to 1994. He starred on "The Jamie Foxx Show" from 1996 to 2001, and won a Best Actor Oscar for "Ray" (2004).

Redd Foxx (1922-1991) was a comedian and the protagonist of the sitcom "Sanford and Son" from 1972 to 1977. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri under his real name, John Elroy Sanford. He began his routines on the "Chitlin' Circuit" in the 1940s and 1950s, and rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s with his "blue humor".
