"PONG" was modeled after the game of table tennis, also known as ping pong. The arcade console became popular immediately, prompting Atari to develop a home version that could be hooked to a television set.

Russian engineer Alexey Pajitnov developed this tile matching game while working at a research and development center. Because the center was government owned, Pajitnov initially received little proceeds from his immensely popular creation; in fact, it wasn't until 1996 when the rights reverted to him that he was able to form The Tetris Company and begin to realize the fruits of his labor.

The "Harvest Moon" series involves the rebuilding of a virtual run-down farm. When Zynga released "FarmVille" in 2009, the social network game became an instant hit, with millions of players signing on to plant crops, raise livestock, and help "neighbors" with chores.

The craze became so widespread that talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw addressed the problem of computer addiction in 2010 and berated a housewife for neglecting her family in favor of the game.

Answer: Raccoon

"Raccoon Mario" has the ability to fly, allowing him to cross dangerous areas in his quest to save Princess Peach. Other power-ups include a frog suit, which enables Mario to swim, and a tanooki (raccoon dog) suit which allows him to temporarily turn to stone.

The series was a huge success and has spawned several sequels and similar games.

Q-bert must avoid snakes, gremlins, and other enemies while bouncing between the pyramid's squares.

Players use a wide variety of different types of plants to defend the home against the approaching zombies, and seeds are selected based on factors such as time of day and the type of zombies present in each level.

The player attempts to destroy the pigs by launching the birds into the structures around the pigs, causing the structures to fall. Different colored birds have special abilities and appear as the game progresses.

Initially released as a game for mobile products, the "Angry Birds" phenomenon has been marketed in forms from PC downloads, clothing and advertising media, and has even been referenced in religious and spiritual writings.

Swapping the jewels to form a line of three or more causes those jewels to disappear and allows the same number of new gems to fall into the board.
