Daniel Day-Lewis was the first actor to win three Academy Awards for Best Actor. The English thespian won his first award in 1989 for "My Left Foot" playing Christy Brown. "There Will Be Blood" in 2007 earned Daniel his second Oscar for Best Actor. The Western-drama was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

In 2012, Day-Lewis won Best Actor for playing the lead role in "Lincoln" about the 16th President of the United States.

Daniel Boone was born in 1734 and passed away in 1820. Boone was an American pioneer and frontiersman who left his mark on American history. Daniel Boone fought in the American Revolutionary War and was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. In his forties, Boone pursued surveying and exploring to a great degree. Boone traveled between the Appalachian Mountains in an unsettled area called the Wilderness Road through the Cumberland Gap in order to survey and discover new land.

His exploration in 1775 opened up the region to other settlers to follow Boone's lead.

This led to Kentucky becoming the 15th state of the United States in 1792.

"Moll Flanders" was written in 1722 and described the life of a woman born in Newgate Prison who lived a long but tumultuous life.

Dan Akyroyd was born in 1952 in Ottawa, Ontario. He got his major break in entertainment when Dan became an original member of the cast of NBC's "Saturday Night Live". One running skit on the show had Akyroyd teaming up with fellow cast member John Belushi for a duo called the Blues Brothers.

The two wore dark suits, sunglasses, and sang great R&B songs from the 1960s with a lot of swagger. The skit became a hit 1980 motion picture that featured cameos by James Brown and Aretha Franklin.
