Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. For the first time all campaign, the player does not play as Alex Mason. Who do they play as through this mission?

Answer: Jason Hudson

The mission starts with the player seeing things from Hudson's perspective. Hudson, alongside Grigori Weaver, is seen violently interrogating Daniel Clarke.
2. Where does this mission take place?

Answer: Kowloon, Hong Kong

Between this mission and the Multiplayer map titled 'Kowloon', they both became very famous for their absolute banger of an intro soundtrack. Upon action beginning in either setting, a brief burst of an electric guitar can be heard. The "Kowloon theme" as it was, became arguably the single most iconic soundtrack ever made by Treyarch.
3. This is the first mission in which the player will directly encounter Nova 6. It appears in a decently sized cloud, and the player can easily access it. If stepped into, what does Nova 6 do?

Answer: Immediately kill them

Nova 6 is a biochemical weapon engineered by the Spetsnaz. It is extremely deadly, so much so that it is said to kill anyone who breathes it in before they even hit the ground. It is only barely part of this mission, and it is easily evaded by simply playing the game normally.

However, should the player be curious and approach the cloud of Nova 6, it will result in an immediate mission failure via death.
4. Operatives Jason Hudson and Grigori Weaver track down and apprehend Daniel Clarke, before proceeding to violently interrogate him. What do they interrogate him about?

Answer: Nova 6

Clarke is an American defector, who joined the Soviets to help them develop Nova 6. Ironically, he is in the presence of Grigori Weaver, who himself defected from the Soviets to help the US. Needless to say, this is a 'trade' that worked out favorably for the CIA.
5. Shortly after Clarke breaks and finally starts talking, the Soviets ambush and force the trio to retreat. In doing this, Clarke reveals a secret weapons stash he has, where he is apparently armed and prepared for war. This is where the mission truly picks up. How many different weapons does Clarke offer the player?

Answer: Twelve

Clarke was well and truly prepared for war. He offers the player their choice of two of a dual wield CZ75, dual wield Kiparis, SPAS-12, Dragunov, RPG, China Lake, G11, Grim Reaper, HK21, dual wield PM63, PSG1 and Spectre. This mission, by far and away, gives the player the most freedom to be creative with their loadout.

This is a large part of why the mission itself is so well-known and beloved.
6. Within Clarke's enormous arsenal lies an opportunity for a side achievement. How does the player earn the "Double Trouble" reward?

Answer: Use only dual wield weapons

In terms of dual wield options, the player begins the mission with a CZ75 dual wield. Inside of Clarke's armory, there is a dual wield Kiparis and a dual wield PM63 which can also be used towards this achievement.

On paper, the game telling you "you must use two guns, one for each hand" doesn't sound like a challenge at all. However, this mission is host to a lot of far distance conflict. Dual wield weapons cannot aim down sights, forcing the player to get close for efficiency. That is the main challenge behind earning this achievement.
7. Clarke's armory isn't the only place the player can get special weapons. In fact, bizarrely, a wonder weapon from the Zombies mode can be found here. Which wonder weapon can be wielded in this mission?

Answer: Thunder Gun

Before accessing the armory, the player must first activate a random radio hidden inside a random desk to the side of the first room they can enter in the mission. After activating it, the player must play the game normally up to the point where Clarke opens his armory. Instead of stepping into the armory, the player must step to the left of it and activate a switch on the wall. If they activated the radio earlier, this switch will make a humming sound for a few moments before eventually producing a Thunder Gun.

The Thunder Gun, in Zombies, deals infinite damage. It is impossible for any zombie to survive a blast from it. It works the exact same way in this mission, and is just as overpowered and absurd as you might think it would be.
8. Towards the end of the mission, Clarke attempts to give Hudson the last of everything he knew, saving the most crucial part for his last sentence. Just before he can say the most crucial part, what happens?

Answer: He is shot

In this sequence, both Hudson and Clarke nearly fall off a building to their death. Hudson uses one hand to cling to a ledge, and the other to hang onto Clarke's hand, dangling in the air. While this happens, Hudson demands Clarke finish what he was saying about the Numbers and Nova 6. Clarke begins to do so, but is shot in the head by a sniper before he can finish speaking.
9. One piece of Intel picked up in this mission is straight from Clarke himself. It details what he believes will happen with him once Dragovich's plans are fully realized. What does he believe will happen?

Answer: He will be eliminated

Clarke believes that once Nova 6 sleeper cells are triggered, Dragovich is likely to have anyone with knowledge of the program eliminated as to tie up loose ends. Clarke then goes on to proclaim that he believes he has outfoxed Dragovich, with plans to escape the Soviets and flee to his brother's home in Johannesburg.

Of course, since Clarke was killed in this mission, his plans for escape would never come to fruition.
10. Intel can also reveal the age of Daniel Clarke. It is quite surprising. How old is he?

Answer: 44 years old

In the game, Clarke genuinely looks elderly. His skin is somewhat wrinkled, he has a bum eye and even his voice is somewhat gravely and aged. Personally, I would have guessed he was at least in his 60s if not older. Yet, very much unlike Jason Hudson and Joseph Bowman, Clarke is actually far younger than he looks.
