8. Which vegetable is green, grows in a pod and sometimes has a princess associated with its name?

Answer: pea

Peas are an annual plant, meaning they must be replanted every year. The variety we grew was sugar peas that can be eaten right off the vine, in the pod or steamed as well.

Answer: lettuce

Lettuce can be used in many different ways, such as in salads or on sandwiches. It also comes in many different varieties like romaine, iceberg and summer crisp.
10. What is orange, grows in the ground and rabbits like to eat it?

Answer: carrots

During the winter, carrots can be kept in the ground if the tops are cut off and they are covered up, this way they can be pulled out later and used. Eating an excessive amount of carrots can result in a person's skin turning a shade of orange: this is called hypercarotenemia.
