1. What is the main ingredient of the liqueur Creme de Cassis?

Answer: Blackcurrant

Creme de Cassis has been made in the Dijon district of France since 1841 and is the heart of a Kir Royale. This was named after Felix Kir who was mayor of Dijon just after the Second World War, and one of the major drivers in the movement to "twin" cities as a way of trying to avoid future wars.
2. What is the main ingredient of the liqueur Cointreau?

Answer: Orange

The Cointreau brothers started production of this liqueur in 1841, and the company now sells more than 13 million bottles a year in over 200 different countries.
3. Besides water, what is the main ingredient of the liqueur Malibu?

Made in Barbados and a hefty 48 proof, this one is not for the faint hearted!
4. What is the main ingredient of the liqueur Tia Maria?

Tia Maria is made in Jamaica using blue mountain coffee beans and is almost as popular when used in cooking as when drunk at parties.

Originating from the Italian/Croatian borders near Triesate, Maraschino was a great favourite of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and is still produced by the people of Maraska-Zadar to this day.
