Naboth was a Jezreelite who worked his vineyard close to Ahab's palace. Ahab offered to buy the vineyard from Naboth, but Naboth told Ahab the Lord did not want him to sell it to Ahab. In order to make Ahab happy his wife, Jezebel, had Naboth falsely accused of slander and stoned to death. Ahab stole Naboth's vineyard and died because of it. (I Kings 21)

While Laban was out with working with his sheep, Rachel stole her father Laban's household gods to make up for the fact that she was not going to get the inheritance that should have come to her. (Genesis 31)
