Answer: Grosvenor Square

The march was in protest against American involvement in Vietnam. An estimated crowd of 80,000 people lead by Tariq Ali and Vanessa Redgrave marched towards the American Embassy with the aim of handing over a letter of protest to the American Ambassador. When they reached the square they found it cordoned off by police and soon after the protesters clashed with the police.

Answer: Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi, who was 78 at the time, had just finished prayers and was walking towards the dais, helped by two of his nieces. The man stepped in front of him, saluted and then fired three shots at him.
Nathuram Godse was the perpetrator of the attack that killed the "Father of India". He was a Hindu extremist and was subsequently tried, sentenced to death and executed. Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India and Rabindranath Tagore was a polymath and winner of the Nobel Prize in literature in 1913.

Answer: Rodney King

More than 50 people died during the riots and more than 2,000 were injured. Many buildings were destroyed or damaged. Rodney King was beaten by LA police following a car chase through LA County. The incident was taped by a witness of the event from the balcony of his house who delivered the tape to a local TV station the following day. Rodney King died in 2012.
Don King was a boxing promoter, Larry King a television and radio host and Ledley King was an English football player.

Answer: Anwar Sadat

Anwar Sadat died along with other high ranking officials that were watching the parade. Khalid Islambouli was the leader of the assassination squad and the man that threw the three grenades, two of which failed to explode, and the third landing short of the target. Major General Hassan Allam was one of the victims of the attack. Gamal Abdel Nasser was the first President of Egypt following the overthrow of King Farouk in 1952.

Toxteth is located to the south of Liverpool city centre. The riots came into a stop in the early hours of Monday when police used gas grenades. There was another wave of riots on July 27 and 28 in the same year. Dumfries and Perth are Scottish cities.

Shimon Peres who succeeded Rabin as both Prime Minister and Defence Minister had also served as Defence Minister during the period 1974 to 1977. Moche Dayan preceded Peres and Weizman succeeded him as Minister of Defence.

Sirhan Sirhan was the perpetrator of the crime, Rafer Johnson was an unofficial bodyguard of Robert Kennedy and John Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963.

Days of Rage took place in Chicago during October 1968, Rodney Riots in Kingston Jamaica in the same month and year. The Stonewall Riots occurred in New York in June 1969.
