Answer: Morocco

All of the countries are members of the EBU, making them eligible to compete in the contest. Morocco only appeared through the withdrawal of Israel in the 1980 contest.
2. Which of these competing artists is the odd one out? (Hint - think about appearances)

Answer: Katrina

Katrina is the only one to compete only once in the contest. Chiara competed three times (1998, 2005 and 2007). Jahn Teigen (famous for "nil points") competed in 1978, 1982 and 1983. Elisabeth Andreassen competed four times (1982, 1985, 1994 and 1996).
3. How many countries automatically qualify for the final of the contest each year?

Answer: 6

The Big 5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) are joined in the final each year by the host country.
