This is "Eye of the Beholder" from Metallica. The song essentially goes back and forth, where it encourages the listener to do and act as they please, with the caveat that it must be exactly "if it's done just how I say". It was first performed live by the band in July of 1989.

This is the band's "Nightmare" track, and a personal favorite of mine at that. This song largely explores all manner of torment, grief and general anguish. It was written very shortly after the death of drummer Jimmy Sullivan. This song first launched as a single in May of 2010.

Answer: Dead Kennedys

This song is "Soup is Good Food" by the Dead Kennedys. It is essentially a satirical depiction of someone rationalizing capitalism and dramatically ruining people's lives in the process. This song first came out in October of 1985, as the opening song on their "Frankenchrist" album.

Answer: Rob Zombie

This song is called "Living Dead Girl". You can find this song on either Rob Zombie's CD "Hellbilly Deluxe" or on the remake of "Psycho" soundtrack. It first came out in very early 1999.

Answer: Peter Frampton

This roughly twenty minute long song of Peter Frampton's, "Do You Feel Like I Do", was released in October of 1973, and was mostly made up of instrumentals and showing off nifty voice synthesizers. Personally, I used to host a radio show for several years, and this song was my go-to if I needed to take a lengthy break from being on the air for any reason. Hilariously, the entire song itself, per Frampton himself, was inspired by a hangover he once had where the first thing he saw on waking up was a wine glass.

Answer: Jimi Hendrix

This Jimi Hendrix classic "All Along The Watchtower" generally comments on societal chaos, and an urgent search for some kind of peace or general liberation. It came out in September of 1968. Bob Dylan wrote this song originally, and though Jimi Hendrix technically 'covered' it, Dylan loved it so much that his own live performances were performed in Hendrix's arrangement. Thus, the cover ultimately ended up becoming the definitive version.

Answer: Creedence Clearwater Revival

This all-time 1969 classic "Fortunate Son" is arguably the catchiest track CCR has ever made. It's also well known for its lyrics, in which it sharply criticizes class inequality and criticizes how the wealthy and powerful got draft exemptions. This song reached the number three spot on the U.S Billboard Hot 100 in the year it came out.

Answer: AC/DC

This track, "Rock N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution", came out in 1980 and was released on the "Back in Black" album. It is a very catchy tune which is basic as can be - depicting the rock and roll genre as genuinely good music with a bright future, rather than just as a basic nuisance.

Perhaps most amusing about this song is that, at around the 11-12 second mark, you can clearly hear what sounds like a lighter flicking. It sounds as if someone is smoking. That "somebody" is singer Brian Johnson, who literally did take a hit from his cigarette before proceeding to then sing the song.

Answer: Guns N' Roses

This song is "Used to Love Her", and is arguably one of the funniest songs in the rock genre. The funniest part about it is that it actually isn't meant to depict a human woman like the song rather heavily implies, but rather, it was written about guitarist Izzy Stradlin's "noisy pet dog" that was unfortunately put down shortly before this song was made.

This song is the sixth track on the mini-album "G N' R Lies".

Answer: Tom Petty

This song, "Running Down a Dream", was intended to be a shout out to the music Tom Petty himself enjoyed while growing up. Specifically, it makes reference to "me and Del were singing 'Little Runaway', which is a call out to Del Shannon's "Runaway" from 1961. Petty himself would go on to state that the song wasn't based on an actual dream, but instead the feeling of driving and wanting to write a classic car song.
