Johnny Depp earned the SAG award for Best Actor and his first Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp played George Jung in "Blow" also starring Penelope Cruz, Don Juan in "Don Juan DeMarco" opposite Marlon Brando, and William Blake in "Dead Man", a western opposite Gary Farmer.
