A song about Woodstock 1969 by "The Small Faces". It was also covered by "M People" in the 1990's.
2. What about the line "What's that flower you have on? Could it be a faded rose from years gone by"?

Answer: Delta Dawn

The name of the song "Delta Dawn" was said right before that line! One of Helen Reddy's hits from the 1970's; also a hit for Tanya Tucker. It was also covered during the 1980's by "Bette Midler".
3. "Seals & Crofts" are best known for the song that has the words "Blowing through the jasmine in my mind". What was that song?

Answer: Summer Breeze

Still played as a favorite on many classic's stations, it has also been remade, and was the opening song in the hit film "I Know What You Did Last Summer".
4. "When marimba rhythms start to play, dance with me..." was a line from which song?

5. "Step by step, heart to heart..." goes the beginning of the chorus in which 1980's hit?

Sung by the truly forgettable "Martika", great song, shame about some of her others, like "Martika's Kitchen".
6. "Tropical The Island Breeze" were the first four words in the chorus of which hit?

Answer: La Isla Bonita

Don't you remember this 1980's hit by "Madonna", it was from the "True Blue" album?!
7. "...seem to smile and say 'we don't care what your name is boy, we'll never turn you away'" was from which song?

Answer: Ferry Cross The Mersey

Although "Gerry And The Pacemakers" hit song was made decades ago, ferries still do cross the Mersey, and have done for literally hundreds of years!
8. "...going down the old mine with a transistor radio..."

Answer: Brown Eyed Girl

"Van Morrison"'s hit from the album "TB Sheets".

Anothe hit by "Van 'The Man' Morrison", this time from the album "Moondance".
10. "Something inside me that crawls beneath the surface" came from which recent(ish) hit?

Answer: Crawling

The first smash hit from the album "Hybrid Theory" by "Linkin Park", also re-mixed on their follow up album "Reanimation".
11. "Around Nassau town we did roam" we heard in which song?

Answer: Sloop John B

I had to throw in something by the "Beach Boys"!
12. "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls" they sung in:

Answer: Sound of Silence

Another big one from "Simon and Garfunkel". "Heroes and Villains" was "The Beach Boys", "Maggie May" was "Rod Stewart" and "Closer the Free" was "The Bodines", the theme song from TV's "Party of Five".
13. "Pumping up the volume breaking down to the beat" she sang in which song?

Answer: Get The Party Started

"Get The Party Started" was the first released song from "Pink"'s album "Missundaztood", one of only three songs on the album that she did not either write, or co-write. "Diirty" is "Christina Aguilera", "Work It" is "Missy Elliott", and "Drinkin' in L.A" is actually by "Bran Van 3000", but its my favorite song so I chucked it in anyway!
14. "I'd like a doctor to take a picture so I can look at you from inside as well" was the strange line, from the equally strange song:

Answer: Turning Japanese

That song had us all slightly confused... but it still hauled in a fair bit of cash for "The Vapors"! It was recently used on the "Charlie's Angels" movie soundtrack.
15. And since this is the last question, I'll make it a wee bit harder. "My anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hon" was a line in which song?

Answer: Baby Got Back

Yeah, you still hear this song by "Sir Mix-a-Lot" from time to time!
