Ditto for me. 30 Days In The Hole wasn't so bad, I got lots of nice quiet time to enjoy some peace and read some books. The only part I didn't like was not being able to let you know where I was. It can't have been nice to think your friends had just abandoned you without a word. Desperate to hear the rest of your stories, David! Before I begin I'd like to thank 2 friends who know who they are for bringing me back and to them I will say I'm pretty sure who got you booted and I have asked my spirits to boot him:). Also I will say I have NEVER done any kind of drugs other than occasionally beer and yes I smoke regular cigarettes. Sorry. So these tales are true. Now for age 21. Notice the number cause it does have meaning. But now for my next experience and if you remember me, Kay comes back and Anita. When I was growing up I always and still do play the crane games where you win stuffed animals (see the movie Toy Story if you don't understand ) I just liked the game but only kept a couple though I won a lot I still play them at my age but don't keep most, the rest I decided to donate to the children's ward at a local hospital and have done so whenever I get a couple bags full.Now when I was 21 I was away at college. I came back home for Easter week to also see my sister (yes, the one that saw the rose) who was having surgery the day after Easter. All the stuffed animals I had I had brought the Thursday before to this hospital. The nurse has me fill out a form for tax and security purposes.(NO I don't do this for a tax break!!) Since it was before Easter a lot of the one's I had were Easter themed. As I was filling out the stupid forms a little girl came out of her room down the hall. She saw me and the nurse at the door, saw the bag with all the stuffed animals and yelled. "Oh bunny!!" she came and gabbed one and ran away. Now, the day after Easter and after my sister's surgery I went back to see my sister at the same hospital. She was in a room by herself. I brought a book and was reading it in her room cause she was still sleeping. The room door behind me was open and from behind me I heard what seemed like a soft whisper. I heard the words "I'm here with you". I thought it was a nurse so Just looked up at my sister and back to my book. Then I heard from behind me "BUNNY" I turned and looked at the door and there was Aunt Kay with a little girl in front of her holding a stuffed rabbit! I FREAKED!!!! I turned back to my sister who just awoke and she pointed at the door and softly said "Was that Kay?" Amazed I asked if she saw her too and she said yes. I asked about the little girl and she said she didn't see one. I left the hospital when a friend of my sister came. When I got home I had a message on my answering machine from a nurse at the hospital (yes they had answering machines back then)The nurse got my phone number from the stupid form I filled out and she was the one at the door. I called the number and got her. Believe it or not her name was Anita!!!! But she told me the little girl that took the bunny died the morning after Easter but she never let go of that bunny. Poor little girl, I do hope she went peacefully. It must be heartwarming to know that something you did (donating the toys) made her so happy at the end of her short life. It just goes to show, what might seem like a small thing to you could be extremely important to someone else. She was obviously very grateful for her bunny and wanted to make sure you knew. You're so kind, David, and you made a very big difference to that child, and probably many others. I, also, have never taken any kind of recreational drugs, not even the sort that some people think of as 'normal' to do at parties and whatever. I've never smoked, and I rarely drink. I HAVE, however, had a crazy hallucination brought on by heavy painkillers following surgery. I saw monstrous little shadowed goblins dancing around the room and climbing all over the foot of my bed. This looked very real at the time, but I could still tell the difference between that and the genuine supernatural encounters that I frequently have. When you see a spirit, it's nothing like an hallucination. It's not like a dream, and it's not like when you drift off and imagine something. Anyone who has ever experienced it will know, but it's not easy to explain. I believe every word, David, and I'm so pleased that you came back to share your amazing stories with us! :-) Reply #264. I also believe every word. Never took drugs either, and also had haollucinations on painkillers (though this last time in hospital I did hallucinate without, too). I think it's possible sometimes to confuse hallucination wituh something paranormal (if one doesn't understand what happened, and has convinced themselves they imagined/hallucinated). The spirits may have been trying to contact me in rehab the week after surgery (I had sensations of being touched, and heard a voice calling my name). I still don't know what to believe. Reply #265. Welcomes back Jazz:) And also Jo but we are still missing a certain woman in a black dress. :) Believe this or not I just brought a dead gut back to life today!!! Friend collapsed across the street. His sister came to get me and I picked him up off the patio, carried him inside and put him on the couch. his heart stopped just after ambulance arrived. They restarted it. Was told I saved his life. Oh. My. God. I just wrote a long, long post of a story of mine, and it was rejected because of the words "shu* up," so when I backed out to change it, it disappeared! I'm not writing it again right now, but I will later. That's almost as creepy as the story I just told all of you! And... it just did it again, but this time I copied this short post and pasted it and changed the Very Bad Word. Sigh... "30 Days In The Hole" -- it's the only logical explanation. Reply #271. Elle, you must have some sort of extra sense because you mentioned something about me I haven't told anyone on this site. I would not call myself a "rockstar" but I have been lead singer in several bands since I was in High School and have developed quite a few groupies. Yes, I know what it's like to have women throw undergarments at me while on stage. LOL. That may partly come from the fact that I usually bring a bunch of roses to each show and toss or hand them out to ladies in the crowd during the show. I have also won a bunch of karaoke contests and one of the ones I won I found out that the young guy that came in second later win on to win American Idol. Yeah, I beat him. Haha, David, that's awesome! I don't think I have an extra sense, in fact, I have one less than a lot of people (I have no sense of smell), but so many people don't use their 'supernatural' senses, or ignore them. Ok, this one is kinda gruesome so if you have a weak stomach just skip it til the next one tomorrow. Now when I was 28 I had a job as a night security job for a storage unit company where hundreds of people rented units to store there extra stuff. The place was open from 6am-10pm. My job was to sit in my office and monitor security cams we had to make sure nobody snuck onto the grounds afterhours to try to break into a unit or sleep in it. I started at 9:30pm to watch and make sure everyone had left by 10. At 10pm I turned off then drive in gates so no cars could get in though people on foot could still find away if they wanted to. So my job then was to watch the monitors and see if anyone snuck on the property. The cameras did not cover all the property or levels so I also had to do a full walk through each alley and floor and hallway. Several times I chased off groups of kids trying to break into a unit to rob it. One night at about 3am I did my property walk. Everything was calm until I got to the back of the lot where the dumpsters were. The units looked fine but I heard a noise like a voice coming from the dumpster area behind me. Figuring kids got in I walked into that area and circled it, all twelve dumpster in a fenced in section and nobody. Raccoons I thought. I started to walk away and I heard a muffled voice speak again from there. Somebody had to be hiding so I went back. I walked the area around them all and nothing. Since that section was fenced in I figured whoever it was must be hiding in a dumpster waiting for me to leave as I got near the back I heard the voice again from the back dumpster. I walked slowly up to it and as I got nearer I heard the voice from inside say "Find me". Expecting to find a kid inside I threw open the lid and instead, right there on top I found (gruesome part!!) a blood covered clear plastic bag containing half of a human male body!!! Obviously dead for hours but nothing else around could have said "find me". Told the police when they arrived that I thought it was raccoons I heard that drew me there. They checked my security tapes and found that the last car that left my gates that night looked like the car that was owned by a guy who's wife had reported him missing the day before. Hours later I was told that the missing guys car was found abandoned but with blood stains in the trunk. It was the same guy!
