After losing the myth, legend or fact forum I thought it would be nice to have a supernatural experiences and questions thread here, I'm sure there's still plenty of interest in it.

Unfortunately, it seems that FunTrivia chat board rules do not allow me to post a link to this forum. If anyone wants the link, so they can look at the forum, please message me.

Kev, you are naughty!
I get caught out by that Supernatural thing, I think I've got it covered when it turns up as a topic in Duels or whatever, and then it's all questions about a TV series that I've never seen.

ElusiveDream, this topic is fascinating, and it's too bad there aren't more people talking about it, whichever forum that may be.

Hey, jen, did you win your KO tournament last week? I forgot to keep tabs on that. :-(

Hi, This is Michelle
I have had a couple people say I shouldn't use my dad's name but many others say to continue on in his memory. I haven't decided yet which way to go but my dad did write out his final story so I figured I would post that here under his name and then one more story of my final? experiences with him in another post.

My dad told me about the 7's and his Haworth experience with my step-mom came when he was 42.

This year from his own letter.

My family and I have moved back from England to Chicago area and things have amped up. We went to a family gathering and on the way back at night we came back down a place called Cuba Road. Yes, you can look that up and see all the haunted stories about it. While driving down it that night we ALL saw the house the shouldn't be there. Yes, besides Michelle I have two other daughters with my second wife both born in England. Cuba Road is notorious as alot of Chicago gangsters used to live there and there is also a haunted cemetery. While driving down the road we saw a car coming from the other direction as it passed by the light went out on it and it disappeared. Only seconds later car lights appeared behind us and followed us before all of a sudden they disappeared as well. My wife, Michelle,Sarah and Nyssa also saw this. (Yes, my two youngest are named after Dr Who companions)

Another night my wife and I went to a play at Goodman Theater. While walking back to our car afterwards we passed an alleyway behind another theater. Currently the Oriental but used to be the Iroquois. Over 100 years ago there was a fire where it is said over 600 people died, The doors were locked so many jumped out the back windows and died while falling to there deaths. Apparently bodies were piled up in the alley. It was always said that at times you could hear the screams of the dying in the alley. As we passed by that night I did! Stupid me I walked down it and my wife came with cause she didn't hear anything. As I got closer the screams faded and finally died. Not going back there again!!

Thirdly there is a place in Waukeagan that has been turned into like an ancient Egyptian memorial even with a pyramid. Passed by there a few weeks ago and Michelle pointed out something. We stopped into the driveway and both saw a white figure at the gates. She then turned and walked through the pyramid door. It was not open.

Lastly, my wife and I were at a nightclub in downtown Chicago. We met a younger girl who seemed to be mostly dancing by herself. She asked for a ride to an apartment building when we were going to leave and we agreed. We got there and I let her out of the car but instead of walking to the apartment building she walked straight to the cemetary across the street and faded away as she reached the gates.

Now I know alot of my stuff may be hard to believe but it is 100% true. I don't know why this stuff happens to me and I'm scared that it happens to Michelle as well. Now for the 7's. If you've read my other adventures you'll notice they have all happened at 7 year intervals (not including minor incidents in between). Throught my life I have been told SEVEN times by complete strangers that I would not live to see 50yrs. I am currently 49.

That was Dad's last tale of his occurrences. I've had instances myself about my dad during the past few months which I'll post soon if you wish.

Thanks again for your support, Michelle

Sadwings, I crumbled under the pressure like one would crumble a used tissue!! Thanks for asking, though! Made it to round #2 this week, how about you?

yeah, I won my first round from my opponent not showing up. I sure would like to get my 2nd weekly win. I've won like 77 knockouts with only 1 weekly win and I don't want to wind up getting 1 weekly win for every 100 or so knockouts.

I probably shouldn't say anything about this but I can't help it. I am just a big blabbermouth. Anyway, you know how they will sometimes print what certain players have written in the "Hobbies" and "Comments" sections of their profiles when they are writing up their Featured Tournaments lists each week? Well, I would just get the biggest laugh if they printed my comments part of my profile sometime when my number comes up for me to be included in a featured tournament. You should check out my profile sometime if you never have before, jen. Guffaw-haw-haw! Stagedork! Stagedork is just my own silly creation that I could probably write a sitcom about! In the meantime, it would just really tickle me and who knows how many other people if that stuff were to ever pop up on a featured tournie list.

Ron Jenkins of Rolling Stone magazine reports, "We have seen the future of rock and roll, and that future belongs to Stagedork."

Someone should definitely do that... especially yours since it's fun!

Just imagine, jen, a band whose music is so awful, they never sell any records, but their concert sales? Not only did their shows sell out everywhere they went, they broke all kinds of records as far as selling out venues all over the world faster than anybody before them ever had. How can this be? Because everyone was just gonzo crazy about seeing them live because of the way they would wind up badly destroying their equipment and the stage they were playing on - all completely by accident, one little mishap after another. You know, somebody trips and falls and takes down a stack of amps, somebody else is strutting all around just trying to look so cool, and suddenly they fall into stuff and cause a lot more damage and it just goes on and on. Ahyuk! Silly me. Can't help it, I'm a wannabe comedy writer and I can't help but to think up stuff like this. What do you think, jen, think I would be very good at being one of the writers for a few sitcoms?

The thought of someone going around on stage trying to look cool, only to knock down expensive pieces of equipment is very cute! Comedy gold. And it's true, people can't help but watch trainwrecks!

Ha! You have a very good point there. Stagedork would definitely be the ultimate trainwreck. They would even eventually have a movie made about them, and the tagline for the movie would be "Feel the dork. Embrace the dork. Stagedork."

Yes indeed, my friends. Stagedork is the light and the way.

Michelle, I'm posting this here as well as the Absent Friend Blog, since you posted in both Blogs:

Michelle, if you truly want to keep your father's legacy alive, taking over his account is not the way to do it. Since you have access to his password, maybe change his Comments section to a fitting tribute? His account won't disappear. But taking it over sets a bad precedent, and it's against site policy, as well. And since you posted in here and in the Temporarily Absent Friends Blog, I'll post this there, as well.

Scorpion, you've been a member of this site long enough to know what a terrible idea it is to take over someone else's account. Michelle can make her own account and tell her own stories with her own account.

I think it's time to bring a Moderator into this.

Some people don't understand. I am NOT cancelling my Dad's account and I might visit it sometimes. When I'm ready I'll come back with my own. Visiting this site under my dad's name is like being able to visit his grave site. I have actually talked to the lawyers I've been dealing with about dad's will and other things and they have told me that there is no legal way I can lose his name. It's mostly just a game. Not like winning money so what's the big deal?
