"Dancing Queen", written by group members Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, was a hit for ABBA in 1976. "Dancing Queen" featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Muriel's Wedding". It topped the singles charts in both the US and UK.

"Three Times a Lady" hit the top in the US and UK for The Commodores in 1978. The song was written by the groups frontman Lionel Richie. Prior to the release of "Three Times a Lady" the Commodores were known as a disco funk outfit.
