Subject: Nasty goes to The Match

Posted by: nasty_liar

This is my new blog about all things sports.

Warning to any North American readers expecting any of your sports to be featured. They will not. I do not watch Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey or American Football.

I am a huge sports fan though. The most important being football, or soccer to those in North America, in particular the team I have supported since I was a boy. Huddersfield Town.

I am not a David Beckham fan and if he gets off this charge it is a travesty.

Watching the England match. The Injury to Luke Shaw looks pretty bad. Spain certainly the better team. I can't stand Ramos he is a cheat.

Beating "cannon fodder" like Costa Rica is one thing, playing top notch teams another..............I'm afraid England's deficiencies become glaring obvious when up against teams like Belgium, Croatia, and tonight Spain.

Nasty, rubytops...............Guess what?

David Beckham has avoided a speeding trial after a charge against him was thrown out on a technicality.

Now who would have guessed that happening? Me, I'd have risked a few bob on betting this would be the verdict...........one law for rich..........!!

It's an absolute disgrace.

Don't set me off oh team leader!

He should be setting an example by holding his hands up to it and taking his punishment. What a joke. Makes me fume!

Europe hold the upper hand after day One of the Ryder Cup! This, only days after Tiger Woods wins his first tour title in five years.

Turned out to be too easy - Europe 17½ - U.S. 10½

Yeah! I guess experience on that course proved key. Europeans had it, most recently of the US team didn't. I suppose that's the idea of home advantage!

Huddersfield lost again on Saturday. I thought it was a good performance though. I'm optimistic still. Interestingly, Harry Kane has now scored more Premier League goals at the John Smiths Stadium than any other player (Huddersfield players included). Scary stat that one, shows how few goals we have been scoring since arriving in the premier league.

Did Kane score the penalty with his hair? Ha! Ha!

I am fed up of all this continual furore about the of problems at Man Utd. Jose is now a characature figure of himself. I hope he stays there and they become more of a mess. I bet Fergie is enjoying all this and that since he left no one can steer the ship.

With his hair? Not sure I follow you.

Huddersfields next home game? Liverpool. I'll be there, hoping for an upset.

Re Harry Kane...Last season one of the players, can't remember which shot the ball on target toward the goal and it was definitely going in but on its way it skimmed the top of Harrys hair and he claimed the goal was his which was given. He was so desperate for that premier league golden boot. Ever since it has been a bit of a joke. I am suprised you don't know about it as pundits do occasionally refer to it. I was obviously pleased Salah won the boot.
Your team will always be in with a chance but our defence is so much better this year and so is our bench.

Quote, "defence is so much better this year and so is our bench", unquote.

Now I know why we lost on Saturday......defense OK, but need a bench. Just happen to have one in the garden...., a bit used, been around a bit....ideal for League 2? So come on U's, now is your chance..........get a bench! ROFL

Ah yeah, familiar with the Harry Kane. I’d forgotten it already to be honest, new season, new jokes :)

Harry Kane definitely scored both goals against us. Rose like a salmon for the first and tucked away the penalty as expertly as usual.

Maybe Town could get two benches then we might stand a chance.

It might not be too bad for you when you play Lieroool this weekend as we have picked up a lot of injuries in the international games.

I’ve been telling anyone who’ll listen that I think we are winning that game since last week! I’ve just got a feeling! A good feeling! It’s totally illogical, not based on anything. I think it’s going to be a sensational result.

I’ll be there.
